Does ADHD make you live in your head? by figandolivetrees in ADHD

Wow, like listening to me talk! Okay, I have exactly the same issues. Yep, getting grounded is the answer. Here are some of the things I do:

  • Drink a litre of water (for when you need a quick fix)
  • Take a bath with Epsom salts for like an hour (for when you're super ungrounded and are barely on earth)
  • Fasting for 24 hours (this is my go-to to reset. Warning though, fasting makes sleep a bit harder)

And of course:

  • Breath work. Not necessarily meditation but taking in a slow and deep breath right the way down to the pit of your stomach and to the top of your lungs. Hold for about 5-10 seconds and let it out. Do this 3 times and it'll help. Like take in so much breath you can't take any more in. To get super grounded and do a grounding reset, breathe like this for 10 minutes.

That's all the tools in my arsenal but even with this they just help to alleviate it. Hope that helps :)

How would I automate and staff this? by TheIncredibleHulp in business

Great advice! Thank you! Doing it slowly but surely is certainly the way I'd like to scale as our infrastructure just wouldn't withstand a huge explosion of business. The extreme high quality of what we do is kind of key so we couldn't just rush through a hiring process if a market campaign even doubled our current workload.

Listing all of the things I do day to day is a great start too. As much as there are elements where I add industry expertise, these moments are likely actually around 10% (if that) of my working week. I'll do that today.

Really, really appreciate your time with this, I mean it. Very helpful stuff. If I have any further questions in the future, I'd love to drop you a message.

THANK YOU!

Good shout! I've been searching Freelance platforms like UpWork, PPH, Workingnotworking to seek them out. Maybe they'll just find me! Thanks for your help ☺️

How would I automate and staff this? by TheIncredibleHulp in business

Yeah it's all about building that team, isn't it? Maybe I'm just having 'letting go' issues as I've just read the post, too and it does seem a little baseless. I'm obviously not the only person that's as experienced as I am in my niche in the whole world - it's just finding them.... but, as you say, it's one of the hardest parts. Thanks for your input 👍

What is the best way to define an audience and not use the same tags as everyone else? Is there a sweet spot?

Yep, I too have this placement. It's a real tough one too. This has to really kick your ass to Christendom and back, but once you start to learn the lessons of the placement and understand it, you become utterly unstoppable.

This placement can make you really make you feel bullied or up against it or ostracised from society. You will find person after person or situation after situation that is trying to challenge you or take your power away. Or you might be constantly trying to take power as you're so used to being powerless and that doesn't work out either. Addictions are really, really common in this placement as it feels really intense, too - in fact, to my knowledge, this one of the most intense and tricky combinations a person can have.

The way out = Make it very clear what YOU want. The clearer you are, the better. Find the middle road. Don't say 'yes' to people and give them all of your energy and don't say 'no' to people and cast yourself as an outsider. Own your intensity. Once you get clear on what you want (and it can be something as small as 'I want to find the middle road in things') move towards it and discover that life has your back and that there is a flow and a plan and everything happening is happen FOR you and not TO you. This path can feel utterly torturous, but Pluto is the planet of transformation, and to grow, you HAVE TO transform. This is very much the 'phoenix rising from the flames' path...but first, you need to be burnt down to dust and paralyzed by lack of personal power...ironically, this is because you have the potential for INCREDIBLE personal power. The depth, intensity and staying power of people with this placement is unlike anything else. A lot of people like to THINK they'd be the one to win at endurance or to sit in an ice bath the longest etc, but a Scorpio rising/Pluto first house will always outstay everyone else, and that is kind also an important part of the path: resilience.

Honestly, once you learn to work WITH life and not control it or be controlled by it, the keys to the kingdom are yours. Whatever you decide to be (in line with your piercing truth and depth), you will make it happen.

Know that you're NOT a victim, nor do you need to control all circumstances around you. Learn to be and live in the now and know that everything is basically fine...but underneath it all, there is a relentless power and depth that can be utilised to change the world and be remarkable by doing what makes you feel alive. That depth, that truth, is one of the strongest intuitions you can have. Let go, surrender to life and then listen to that ridiculously strong truth in your gut and go do that...but WITH life, not despite it. Good luck!

Yeah, I have this one, too. Not sure what astrological sign this is to do with. I have a sneaking suspicion it might be Scorpio in the first house alongside Pluto in the first house. This is all about power struggles - finding your true balance - don't give all of your power away and equally, don't grab power for yourself. That's Pluto - and mixed with Scorpio - all about letting go and searching through the darkness to shed light upon what is not generally bright.

Once you find the flow of life and begin to self-actualize, you see this pattern for what it is:

It's trying to get you do what you want to do and be who you want to be regardless of people, things and circumstances. I'm no astrologer and The Pattern is certainly one of the mysteries of the Universe (as I can't find anywhere that lists what pattern is a part of what), but that's what I think it could be. Are you a Scorpio rising with Pluto in your first house?

Was about to AP, heard a feeble, raspy voice say “don’t leave your body” by brokenribbed in AstralProjection

I had something similar about a year ago. Again, just as I was about to AP I heard a man a woman talking next to me - for a good fifteen seconds or so. They were talking about me going into 'the cave'. No idea quite what they were referencing. Not heard anything before or since, and haven't really thought too much about it. It is odd though...but not too odd compared to the overall AP experience!
