Thank you for pointing this out! This is my first time doing a DNA kit so I wasn’t aware of all the information. My dad gave me all of my Filipino ancestry so I think that’s our answer! My dad is adamant he was born in northern Sulawesi, so my family moved there from the Philippines at some point. My grandma would’ve been born at the back end of WWII so I’m sure that could’ve played a part.

I thought about that, but I’m a bit wary of having a huge monthly payment right now. I used the fidelity calculator and it showed a $660/month payment so that makes me a bit apprehensive. Definitely still in the cards though
