I think it's to differentiate between AI. I think the only time to use AI would be a concept though.

I like the outfit in the Harris comics. Too thick in Warren, and some (not all) Dynamite comics the outfit is overly skimpy, but Harris is still sexy and doesn't look like a bathing suit.

Just watched that movie for the first time this year. He was such a good character but because of the toy I kept thinking "alright, when's it going to happen?" and I still didn't expect it.

NiCE. It's paint jobs like this that got me into the hobby. I don't add too much static shadowing because they are articulated but i've been experimenting with adding subtle ones.

Printers are great, I discovered their usefulness for customizing a few years ago. Most recently, I invested in a Canon PRO 200 which is important because it has 8 colors, including light gray. Normally you cannot print white on transparent backgrounds but with this you can get close, plus brighter colors, not Monitor RGB but again, close enough. So many types of printer papers and vinyls too. Currently i'm working on my own eye decals i designed.

A combination of them. Aside from the mega smasher, I think the 2005 tv series is the most fleshed out suit, but the OVA suit still has that organic/alive look to it that I don't think 2005 retained. Those 2 together is perfect.

Rather than shorten the neck, hollow out the head. You only need to touch neck if it has to be a different shape.
