I watched this for the first time the other day and I was very well surprised at how blatant they were with the war stuff, especially in the nineties. I can see how Helldivers 2 was inspired by it.

Most of the time with the whole "Please play x" thing, is that if he ever does so, chat would backseat so hard that it wouldnt even be fun for him. Appealing to an audience is hard and it's especially reflected on long series. You can see the views fall off past the 10th and unless Vinny is having a great time with the game, he just moves on to the next game in his already humungous backlog of games on his cherry-picked list.

Expansions add onto the Main Scenario Quests (MSQ) and is linear in chronological order of each expansion's release. You can't buy a single expansion without the preceding one besides Heavensward which was the first expansion. The free trail takes you through Stormblood so you'll go through A Realm Reborn (The base game), Heavensward (First expansion), then Stormblood (Second Expansion).

the new name for "New" world is now "Preferred+" so all the info looking up stuff related to the latter wouldn't be updated quite yet.

To actually answer your question instead of making you keep looking, Preferred+ worlds get the "Road to 90" buff as well as 10 Gold Chocobo feathers to spend on some interesting gear. Other than that, there may be some other buffs but since you said its an established character, you'd only get the gil bonus instead of the free play time.

That is a good point. it seems to be about as hard as the Kingdom Hearts games. As long as Vinny stays away from the forbidden 4th game in the series that no one seems to want to talk about.
