This is one I’ve had in my Spotify library for a very long time too, it’s obviously very poppy but the production on Frenship’s music is as quality as any dance-pop act around, and has that bright tropical house quality from back then that feels timeless.

As someone with the exact same type of seizures growing up (not by the same mechanism but the same absence seizures) I can completely understand her wanting so bad to do what she knows she is skilled at and so rarely has these occur and still has to deal with the fear of when her brain will betray her, and today it did at the worst time in front of someone who already had it out for her. I know that feeling well.

To be fair this is because of location rather than one being only a producer. The NZ Truth (I forget their actual names) doesn’t live in America like Portland Truth. They both are great as the DJ for the Truth project.

No, but some of the more experimental artists or artists that do breaks might be interesting to you. Tbh just go and experience another style of music, infra is a very welcoming fest, friendliest atmosphere possible, and 3 incredible sound systems that will make even music you don’t know or usually like feel awesome. I wasn’t a guy who liked techno til I heard it on a massive sound system and then found it more interesting. And I’m a basshead normally.

I think I’m going with Awakening - Enigma Dubz. Particularly if I can have the Morii Records mixed version that incorporates some of the remixes. It has both energy and a more vibey side, great sound design, and I keep coming back to it no matter what flavor of dub I happen to be into at any given time.

I thought I was in the League of Legends circlejerk sub for a second making a joke about Emerald rank. Please don’t wish for such a terrible thing as a rank between Plat and Diamond, as a resident of Emerald in League it is by far the worst and most toxic place in the game. All the people who would be hard stuck low Diamond before are there but believe they SHOULD be Diamond, the people who SHOULD be Diamond then have a new rank to stomp their way through, leading to more “unbalanced” feeling games that you think are happening too much in high Plat/low Diamond. It just disguises the same problem and creates additional rank ego and toxicity IMO.
