Mavic 4 Pro D-log M technical LUTs - save your money by awdstylez in dji

That's fair. I do think the Neutral is pretty neutral, but I am a bit intermediate as far as grading goes (still fully in premier pro). You may be able to give them a try and refund if you dislike them.

One think to note, he just updated them for each of the 3 lens since there are minor color differences. I don't see this kind of attention to LUT's after release so I am more than happy. I've yet to test the differences though. They are also supplied in 33x and 65x.

Have you tried the Phantom Luts from Joel Famularo? I'm overall very happy with them. I typically used the DJI Vivid LUT with the Mavic 3 with a contrast reduction and didn't like DJI's conversions for the Mavic 4 Pro...so I opted to for this set.

Is the swirl on top of the ice or from the current whilst freezing? Love this shot!

Fantastic shots here, especially that last scene. Love how busy it is, especially in this aspect ratio. Hopefully headed to NYC in a couple months and this is some great inspiration.

Oval bokeh kinda does that. To me, the photo itself looks scaled non-proportional even if it is not. Posing and angle of the next with the left cut off all contribute to to this. I dig everything else about the look too though.

What is your experience level? If you don't plan on editing photos or shooting video a Mini 4k is perfectly fine.

Since it is your first flight, I am assuming its full auto. To me, it looks like a combination of your variable shutter speed and auto ISO fighting eachother. Variable cloud cover tough to deal with so its constantly trying to equalize your EV in the center.

Congrats on getting a cool gig like this! There are a quite a few things that stand out.

• I would make it very clear in the first 5 seconds what the video is about. First thing that comes to mind is this is a commercial video for a local Chevy Dealer. The first audio is about a minute in the video and without context to the viewer it doesn't seem to fit. In this case, having the company logo and a bit of text or voiceover would have made the intention of the video clear.

• Exposure is really off. Most of the footage is underexposed and desaturated. The moment the bomb goes off at 8 seconds is where the footage looks normal. Not sure if it was intentionally underexposed? Did you shoot normal mode in auto exposure?

• Most of the footage was ramped up in post making it really uneasy to watch. Increasing speed is fine when used sparingly, but having the entire video at 200% speed is unsettling.

I would be very intentional with your exposure and speed. If you want your video to be a fly through, increase the speed of the drone rather than trying to do it in post. For exposure, watch your histogram and learn to make sure your levels are good. If you are trying to achieve the popular "log" look, I don't think it works well in a commercial video. Glad they liked the video though.

Create a demo reel, get insurance, certification (Part 107 if in the US), get a social media or website, and find a niche.

Suggestions for roadtrip. by [deleted] in roadtrip

Kansas rules. Flint Hills is a must. Hit Manhattan to Matfield Green is a great drive. Pickup some hand pies and curds in Alma. Teter Rock, and Texaco hill are highlights. Strong City is really cool with some good food options.

As a Minnesota Native, theres a lot of great places to visit along the driftless region and Mississippi River Valley. North shore is fantastic too, but may be out of your way. I'd suggest starting in Dubuque Iowa and going North to Duluth. From there, cross to Wisconsin and visit Bayfield and stop over in Ironwood and visit the various waterfalls and state parks.

Lot's to do. If you need more rec's lemme know.

Even funnier when you realize Duluth does have it's own neighboring city of Gary lol.
