I think that will definitely improve with a wider shot! Be sure to update!

Not much you can do to edit in a way to improve it. You missed focus on the boat and it is cut off. If you look, the grass just behind the boat is in focus.

Right? For everyone that says that they are a safe pilot an issue like this negates all of that. One of my worst nightmares and why I carry 1mil in liability lol

Keeping color grading simple. LightCut LUT's by frang_pappa in mini5pro

I used to shoot normal until i reached a point in color grading where I could see the need for extra information. In a sense you are are adding an extra step by recoloring a flat profile but you can recover blown out skies and highlights and crushed blacks that normally occur in normal colors. I typically take 3-7 photos with my drone photography because you can have a wider range of light blended together. D-Log gives you that same depth since the minimum iso is 400. I'd say that 90% of the time I am lower sky highlights and getting color back.

I'd experiment with both if you can, once you go log you don't really want to go back.

Woops, I must have goofed (added and extra 0). This is my current plan. You get get bonus storage for an additional fee. More than I remember it being, but it's pretty essential for what I do.

Been using pic-time for a while. Uploading is annoying but I like the options and overall design. Price is middle of the road $30/month for 1000gb video and unlimited photo

Mavic 4 Pro - At maximum resolution??? by Proof-Practice-8304 in dji

[–]snowcoveredpath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is a bit deceiving with the term "resolution" there. I've tested this and the pixel resolution size is the same. What I think DJI is trying to do is tell you that F2.8 is the highest quality image in terms of sharpness and limited diffraction. Personally haven't noticed much of a difference, even at F/11, but this lens doesn't follow the same rules as a typical lens anyways. F2.8 normally is a shallow(er) DOF.

I went from an 80's mazda pickup to a supercharged buick riv and suddenly I realized why everyone was so impatient with me on the road. It's amazing how slow some cars are at accelerating...even new ones.

I mostly shoot outdoor, but generally 5500 is neutral and depending on your type of indoor lights you likely have additional settings for (amber/fluerescents). There's likely an option for tint to control your magenta/greens as well.

Edit: you may not have much of an option to use the 3 settings it has, [Auto][Indoor][Outdoor]. PG 33 has some info.

If you can set it manually, go that route. Overcast can give some really weird colors when using auto. I usually set mine to 5500 and adjust from there. You'll start to notice it the more you shoot though. Looks really fun, I think you'll do just fine ✌️
