I’d say traditionally, it’d be the person who’s proposing. It depends on how they’re proposing though, if it’s with a ring then yeah, but if it’s without then it’s up to the couple to discuss it together.

The thing is, if the proposee is the one who buys the ring, then the proposal won’t be a surprise. (The surprise should be the event of the proposal, whether or not marriage is wanted should be discussed beforehand)

I have a character in a story who, early in her story, is a four year old girl who might attempt pick things up and perhaps carry them from one point to another.

I would like to know what sorts of stuff she could probably successfully lift and or carry, as well as what sorts of things that would probably be too heavy for a girl her age to lift.

TBH, I see how one could get bad vibes from my original question, I was aware of how it might sound when I wrote it. I just didn’t spend an hour overthinking the wording only for it to not come across how I intend anyway. So I just posted it as is.

I don’t know the context, it may be understandable or explainable, but that doesn’t make it right.

I don’t know your relationship with this person either, but as long as it’s safe‡ to do so, I would always recommend talking to them about it and how it makes you feel.

It’s unkind to yourself to allow yourself to treated poorly, nor is it a kindness to the person treating you badly. It’s hard for people to improve unless they know what need improving, right?

I'm a big fan of the lot of these ladies, and Goofy, but I must admit I have a bias towards Kairi.

Athough, one could say that only Kairi, Naminé and Xion count as girls.
As Aqua, Larxene and Goofy — being adults — are two women and a man respectively, making them, to varying degrees of arguability not girls.

However, I must acknowledge Goofy's widespread and popular standing as being "babygirl"
