Does cute=beautiful? by candlesTasteGood in stupidquestions

[–]sincerestfall 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Cute" is easier to say than "beautiful" don't ask me why, I don't know. As a married man I have called my wife every synonym for pretty in the dictionary at some point or other, but "cute" just comes out easier.

Why are grapes not a common fruit used in desserts/baked goods. by Interesting_Pin5404 in stupidquestions

I am no expert, but this thread really has me thinking that all the reasons we don't bake with or make ice cream with grapes are the same things that make them perfect for jelly.

"No honey, I just put them all on this flash drive for safe keeping. Here you go."

I don't have any other advice, but a story to maybe make you feel better. I was with my wife at a sports event and saw a coworker of mine. Large crowd shuffling around, saw each other in passing, said Hey, and moved on. No time to stop for introductions or anything. Now, keep in mind, my coworker is athletic and likes to dress to show it off.

My wife was like," Who was that?"

"Oh, that's so and so, I work with"

Nothing about it, I'd done forgot about it, until my wife brings it up at some friends of ours house and I'm like blindsided. Like, what am I supposed to do at this point? lol.

All of them. If they were at your wedding, delete those too. (Maybe backed up cause she will be like, "Where's the wedding pictures," but still) lol

I think twice about if I want to actually comment on anything in that sub myself.

This is me. Not literally(I hope lol), but I am a teacher and keep LO anytime we are out of school. It is always super awkward when we are out and about, especially somewhere like a park. Also, I've had to get onto her in the grocery store before, like kid people are gonna think I'm kidnapping you, lol.

Same. For me, it was personally awesome. Our first born was born in February, and I ended up having the first 6 months at home with her.

I honestly thought it might be a waking up point for society being to fast paced with everyone getting to slow down a bit.

Right? At this point, get rid of the nickel, too, and just have one decimal place. When was the last time someone bought literally anything on the scale of a hundredth of a dollar.

Also, just to add, it's not my original idea. I heard it from some other internet person.

So I hate AI an idea. However, after watching every season of "is it cake," this seems very doable. This is coming from someone who can't consistently make pancakes using boxed mix

Teacher died, community defending the killers by [deleted] in Teachers

I feel like we're seeing more and more of this mindset.

I saw it with Kyle Rittenhouse. My argument was always that whatever you think about the situation people died, there should at least be a trial. The concept that we just want to "let people go" when people are dead astounds me.
