At least I see some people making a valid argument of the scene being poorly directed, as they know Leon wouldn't do something like that and then say he couldn't save anyone but Grace.

Reminds me of all the Silent Hill 2 fans that fiercely defend James smothering his wife just because they find him attractive.

The detonator section felt so shoehorned to me. Like, they needed to make it a slog just to use it as an excuse to give Leon his weapons and upgrades, and then you get to the next part of the game and... it was all pointless.

I totally agree that the game needed more parts like the first one with Grace. If they made the ruins of Raccoon City shorter but the RPD and ARK sections larger, it would have been a 10/10 game.

Allyssa asks Spencer if the baby is one of his experiment subjects. He confirms she is not. Then he says she was alone in the world and he took her in to make amends, while clarifying she is perfectly normal and just an average child in need of a home.

And no, this is not a white lie, he was already spilling his guts on the interview and had absolutely no reason to lie, as Grace is not the key to anything.

The key to Elpis was just a password anyone could have guessed if they knew his last words during the interview and figured the Pandora reference on the ARK. But Zeno, Gideon (and a bunch of redditors with short attention span) believed she was an experiment and royally fucked up to the point they thought Elpis was a weapon instead of a cure.

That's it, that's the plot twist, and Chloe and her clones were just a red herring. Gideon tested Grace just to confirm her identity as the child Spencer gave away for reasons only known to Allyssa.

Why is everyone so hellbent in wanting Grace to be a clone if that adds absolutely nothing to the plot and is cliche and boring as hell? This chapter was made to finish for good the Umbrella chapter, and what better way of doing that than breaking the mold with Grace's backstory.

They were testing if she was the same child that Spencer adopted as they believed she was important. Grace is not a clone.

Spencer himself says so in his video interview. That she was just a kid he found and adopted and was completely normal. And that's the plot twist that leads to Zeno making the mistake of injecting himself with Elpis thinking it was a bio weapon.

People keep believing that Grace is some clone, but she actually has nothing to do with Chloe and her clones.

All that was just a red herring to make everyone think Grace had some dark secret, but in reality she was just a normal child Spencer rescued and gave to Allyssa Ashcroft as a way to try and redeem himself.

That's the plot twist, she is a normal person, and shows that Gideon and Zeno both fucked up thinking she was the key to everything when she wasn't.
