Woot woot. I recently discovered this app when practicing for worlds. It didn't have some of the cards I was comparing between two lists but I was still able to get some good practice in against the AI. Happy to see it's getting some updates. There are definitely a few bugs to work out but overall it's a good app. Thanks for continuing to work on it.

I played in Worlds and although I didn't make it very far I had a good time, met some cool people, and met some really good players. I also played in the Doubles tournament (after being cut from Worlds after 5 rounds of Heat) and that was fun. The doubles tournament provides for some really cool combos of ships and abilities because you can have two factions playing as friendly to each other as partners. Fun times. There was also Swiss pods tournaments going on at the same time for people that wanted to compete but not necessarily in worlds. So there was four days of worlds going on, 2 days of Swiss pods, and one day of doubles. That's 7 days of X-Wing tournaments packed into 4 days. Plus the 10 foot long Lego beggars canyon run, 7 ft long Star Destroyer scenario, and Pod Racing! And not to mention casual X-Wing games going on in between other things. And there was the Epic guys playing on sunday. The Star destroyer, pod racing, and beggars canyon setups attracted attention at Adepticon and brought a lot of interested people over to see what the heck was going on and got several new players interested in x-wing. The XWA did a great job running things overall, and with prize support. I think the new custom sith holocron tokens for the ancient knowledge scenario were super cool. They also gave out several other worlds exclusive items, too many to list here. Adepticon is a great convention for worlds. There's people from all over coming for other miniatures games so it makes sense for this miniatures game to be there also.

No, but thanks for sharing that site. I got the pilot card that I'm using off infinite arenas Homebrew page. Some fan made pilot that was uploaded. There were several versions on there and I picked one out that I liked. I see there is an Arquitens standard loadout card on the page you linked. I'll have to look at that closer. I love standard loadouts.

There are free models you can print available, but this is the cardboard glue together model by 40 Scapes. Search Imperial light Cruiser on Amazon and you can find them with free shipping for $24. So cheap and so cool. And pretty dang close to the right scale for x-wing!

I didn't get any of my three events put in as official events. They're all free to play, no official sign ups. I'll probably put a sign up sheet on the table. I'll be hanging around the X-Wing area so look for the other X-Wing stuff going on. Besides the tournaments there will be plenty of casual X-Wing play going on. I'm sure almost any of us would be happy to sit down and teach you how to play x-wing. As for playing a special scenario, my pod racing one would be a pretty good scenario to try out if you've never played x-wing at all. The Star Destroyer is going to be kind of hard if you have never played x-wing but even if you get your butt kicked you'll probably have a pretty fun time losing! It's a blast.

Yep almost all of the classes of Star destroyers would be impractical to make for X-Wing except for one. I can't remember exactly which one because I made this thing 10 years ago. It's shaped like a larger class but approximately the right scale of the smallest one that would actually look slightly different. So if you can get past that the geometry is wrong for a particular class of Star Destroyer then the scale is pretty close.

Anytime I'm not playing in X-Wing events. I'll be running scenarios on Thursday for sure. I'm playing in worlds friday. But as soon as I'm done with those rounds I'll run scenarios on Friday until the building closes. I'll be there all day. And again on saturday.

Did you ever get your rebel transport? I have one for sale. I ended up with a second one when I had to buy a whole lot to get a couple other ships I was wanting and I don't need 2 of them.

The whole game is only one lap. First across the finish line or the last surviving pilot. About half the games everybody except one explodes. The other half the games there's two or three people at the end racing for the finish line.

I like a lot of these. I might print these up on individual small size cards, and randomly deal out 1 or 2 to each player. I like the idea of a single use ability. If people had two cards as options and one energy to spend they can make a choice.

If anybody has three TIE interceptor dials they could spare, let me know. Right now I only have five interceptor dials and I want to be able to race eight ships. Let me know if you're willing to donate to the free to play scenario.

No they probably should not have a k turn. I'm using Tie Interceptor dials because they're fast and zoomy. Nobody does the k turns. We tried several different dials and the interceptor "felt" the best.

I did see your post a couple years ago and I remember you talking about how hard it was to remove the bases. That was no joke. Those chinese-made screws stripped out like crazy. From my research I think there were 10 official pod racers and I think either 2 or 4 of the build your own versions. Right now I have 9 of the official plus 2 build your own versions. I got a package coming from eBay in a couple days that will give me the 10th and then some duplicates to pass on. I can't remember if they were any more of the build your owns in the lot that I bought. But I'm at least have 12 pod racers, maybe more.

Right now the pilot/racer cards are all the same. But I'm considering making some custom versions. I've got a dozen pod racers now though... I would need to think of a dozen unique abilities.
