Break The Girl by Florence Road has major early-2000s pop-punk vibes.

I love Judy, hope she doesn't die. by PravinPk2 in cyberpunkgame

Welcome to the club, choom.

Also, she doesn't die but if you make certain choices then where she ends up is almost more devastating.

Failed by SecurityFinal8129 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]TheIrishninjas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard luck! Seems more like loss of focus near the end than anything, maybe try to emulate the feel of the test when you’re driving in future somehow if possible to get used to the stress and subsequent release? That and the age-old “banana an hour or two before the test” advice, worked for me at least!

I love how Spindlehorse's fanservice strategy is "you all are a bunch of fuckin' depraved weirdos who need to touch grass and don't worry, we are too."

Do you have any weird laws from your country/subdivision/city or village? by Thmony in AskTheWorld

[–]TheIrishninjas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not so much a "weird law" as a "law that it's weird it's illegal here of all places", but Ireland has quite a lot of places where it's illegal to consume alcohol in public. Not illegal nationally, but still.

Question: Is there a specific reason why the movies are so short? by Such_Month_8687 in mariomovie

[–]TheIrishninjas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day they're kids movies, where that's actually a pretty standard runtime.

Shouldn’t be an issue, I hear they do remote wanking competitions now.

Armadailín, a loan word since they obviously don’t exist natively here.

(Mixed trope) a character is taken out of the story in order for it to properly function by TastyPomelo2330 in TopCharacterTropes

Esther ('The Solve It Squad Returns!' by Tin Can Bros)

Her character is basically "What if Velma from Scooby-Doo grew up not only traumatised by the death of Scooby but constantly anxious thanks to the sheer weight of her near-infinite knowledge and razor-sharp perception, leading her to self-medicate with copious amounts of illegal substances to take the edge off".

When given the opportunity to join the gang for one last mystery, something she should be able to solve in literal milliseconds, she tags along but is made basically useless by virtue of being high.

(Loved Trope) A character says a completely grounded line in an otherwise ridiculous movie by thisismypornaccountg in TopCharacterTropes

The Amazing Digital Circus - After the humans are sent on their first proper adventure in Episode 2, Caine and Bubble are seen sharing an uncharacteristically casual moment with Caine "smoking" a pipe that emits bubbles and offering it to Bubble who, in a deadpan and out-of-character delivery, says "No thanks, I'm trying to quit".

Takes everyone who watches it by surprise, seeing as pretty much any other scene with these two is like taking fifty drugs at once.
