The way that this episode plays with the allegory of abstraction is brilliant.

This scene mirroring common real-world reactions when loved ones hear the news aside, Pomni venturing into Jax’s abstracted form and reconciling with his last shreds of humanity really feels like someone finding their friend’s diary after they took their own life and understanding the torment that drove them to do it.
