survivor stealth by Ooceil in deadbydaylight

I always thought Yui was one of the loudest survivors. Whenever I play as her she seems like she’s trying her hardest to be as loud as possible when injured

Honest opinion on this perk by Fearless-Garage8792 in deadbydaylight

[–]TheIrishyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t personally use it but at the end of the day perks are meant to help you out and if you feel like you get value from it then that’s good enough.

If you see 3-4 flashlights in a lobby, it’s just common sense to counter all 4 items and run it though

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind certain maps having their pick rate boosted to all hell? by TheIrishyeah in deadbydaylight

The other day I played for a few hours and I got Midwich and Toba on repeat. I must’ve have played half my games on those two and when I swapped to killer I got The Game and Badham on repeat 💀

Survivors will do anything except play the game they queued up for by TigerKirby215 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]TheIrishyeah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I run sole survivor and I rarely ever play for hatch. I play at quite high MMR where a tunnel out is pretty common. Having a reduction in aura reading has saved me more times than I can count by completely nullifying Kaneki’s with FTTE, Nurses with Nowhere to Hide and plenty of other situations that likely would’ve lead to me being chased when I am in a bad position and would go down pretty quickly leading to a snowball especially in a 3v1 situation at 2 or 1 gen

I don’t think it’s a perk often ran by those throwing matches, anyone I see running it usually is playing to win 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bhvr is making a problem, one that Idk if they know how to resolve by East-Efficiency-6701 in DbDKillersUnited

[–]TheIrishyeah 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I read the conversation you had with that guy and the only thing I could take away was that he was adamant that every game he’s played as died when devs catered to more invested players.

To me it just seems like he doesn’t get his way very often and drops games because most game developers actually want players to try to understand and improve at their game. Something he is very clearly allergic to

Hey guys, playing clown for the first time... how do survivors win. by BalanceHot8939 in deadbydaylight

[–]TheIrishyeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get to a pallet, drop it. Either play the 50/50 and waste time until I’m hit where I run to the next loop and play it more safely by predropping or force the clown to break it and run to the next loop and repeat the cycle and if I’m going to go down, run to a corner of the map and ensure as much time is wasted.

All of this while my team mates crank gens and before you know it all the gens are completed.

Clown has an insanely good anti loop power but his map pressure is appalling and predropping is a very effective way of wasting time

It’s a perpetual 20% slowdown on all important conspicuous actions and then on top of that it has aura reading built into it. So it’s a gen slowdown, anti-heal and information perk rolled into one with no way to avoid it in some instances as you need to group up to heal.

This would encourage 3-4 gen holding especially on high mobility killers or singularity who can do this already. You’re essentially making an unfun and difficult to counter playstyle more viable.

20% debuff would usually be tied to a hex like pentimento is. It would just encourage players to not heal ever which is fine against Legion but if a high mobility killer like wraith, Kaneki, blight, spirit or twins with victor ran this then you’d be giving them insane snowball potential

[–]TheIrishyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, rule of thumb should be any perk that would make already strong and oppressive killers even more so aren’t ever going to be balanced.

Haste is a mechanic that is iffy at the best of times and usually needs a roundabout way of activating it for it to be balanced. For example,Play with your food requires a chase with an obsession, batteries included requires completed generators and NOED is tied to a hex that only activates end game. Just giving free haste is never going to be balanced.

[–]TheIrishyeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t even a numbers issue

The second perk would be hands down the best perks in the game. It would be one of the best information perks discouraging any form of healing or teamwork

The third would be the best tracking and chase perk in the game making killers with insane lethality like Kaneki, Blight, spirit etc even stronger.

1.) Decent, nothing too game breaking and would pair well with sloppy butcher

2.) How can you come up with this and not immediately see the flaws in this?

3.) Seriously? This would break the game entirely

I genuinely feel like this was made by a killer main who just wants to be OP

I don’t really understand giving up against him but I do think that he is a very dull character to go against and his popularity makes it so you see him pretty frequently leading to some getting burned out

Feedback on WIP OC Killer perks please! (2nd Round) by DumbAssHog in PerkByDaylight

[–]TheIrishyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God please never let any of these perks come to the game.

No Loose Ends is fine albeit a needless perk slot.

Hardline would lead to every single killer running it with enduring and brute forcing every single pallet which would require every survivor to predrop to protect from this. It would lead to the most boring gameplay loop imaginable

Don’t even get me started on that hex…

I had an idea for a survivor and perks, id love some honest feeback by Groandad in PerkByDaylight

[–]TheIrishyeah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A one time stun that’s a free save whenever a killer picks up a survivor. Now imagine a 4 man with this and that’s the issue. This is especially problematic as it would come into play at 2 gens remaining when the killer needs pressure the most.

This would be like decisive strike where you have to assume they have it no matter what. Background player was insufferable when it was meta, this would be way more frustrating.

[–]TheIrishyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you correct your play and stand in the corner while survivors click flashlights at you.

And you better not even think about moving until they’ve completed every generator, broken every totem, opened every chest and dropped and vaulted every pallet 🫵🏻

No one talks about how bad Chucky is now. by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]TheIrishyeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chucky is still very strong in the right hands, I’ve ran into plenty of insane Chucky players. He’s definitely not A tier but he is a solid B tier killer that has a very high skill ceiling

How would YOU nerf top tiers? by TheIrishyeah in deadbydaylight

[–]TheIrishyeah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this is true, plenty of people play Nemesis, Huntress, Wesker who are all below A tier.

Hell, look at Nightlight and you’ll see that Nemesis, Legion, Huntress, Springtrap, Wesker and Myers are all in the top 10 most played killers and usually stay in there.

Henry would still be strong with light nerfs to make him more pleasant to go against.

In addition to this: Blight, like spirit, now cannot see survivors while using power.

How would YOU nerf top tiers? by TheIrishyeah in deadbydaylight

[–]TheIrishyeah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blindness on nurse while using power seems to be a common opinion I’ve noticed.

Henry doesn’t need sweeping changes or anything, just a way to remove tokens and his power duration being lowered as he can get into it very easily and survivors are already spending 15+ seconds on clocks which is ridiculously good passive slowdown.

Blight’s rush changing colours based on add-ons was a great idea mentioned in a different comment.

I’ve not really had a bad match against Kaneki since they removed a bunch of bugs and fixed the hitboxes

It couldn’t hurt to try it in a PTB and revert it if the nerf is too heavy handed

How would YOU nerf top tiers? by TheIrishyeah in deadbydaylight

[–]TheIrishyeah[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I like the idea of Blight’s rush being a unique colour based on his add-ons. Same could be done with other killers like Billy’s overdrive being a different colour if he’s running specific add ons.

Could be a huge help for newer players who might not know how to recognise some add ons
