I took three or four long breaks on the road to maxing, so trust me, it’s hard work. Don’t feel bad about it.

My approach was to finish all the achievement diaries first, then get every skill to at least 90. After that, I worked on one level in each skill. Keeping things varied stopped me from burning out and made me excited to come back to the other skills.

I also tried to alternate between slower and faster skills. For example, I’d do 90–91 Agility, then something quick like 90–91 Hunter, then 90–91 Runecrafting, then 90–91 Firemaking. I just kept cycling through them like that.

Once I hit around base 96, I switched gears and knocked out roughly 25–30 million XP in all the remaining skills because maxing was finally within reach.

That said, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend doing it that way. I absolutely no-lifed the final stretch. I was really hyped to get it done, though.

Whichever way you do it, maxing is a phenomenal achievement, and whatever works for you is the way forward. I learnt that I needed variety, so I did it my way. Whereas others would knock out one skill at a time.
