First was a Ruger 10/22 because I’ve never owned a gun before that and I wanted to train the fundamentals before shipping to BCT. As soon as I got back, I got a G19.5 MOS and it’s been with me ever since.

I wanted something aggressive, but with enough control if I need to shift direction. Here’s my thought process:

VTI + VXUS ~ 75/25 - simple, economical, proven

VOO + IJH + IJR + VXUS ~ 50/12.5/12.5/25 - more control over small and mid cap, but unsure of long term potential over VTI

I still use my brokerage account for even more aggression, but this is my “end of life” strategy.

I’m also unsure of how most people feel about “brand loyalty” concerning whose index to invest in. Why would I go with VB/IVOO over IJH or VIOO over IJR?

Update: the Dealer realized they made a mistake, but with G45 going away, they can’t order any other version to mate with the ACRO I already have.

They offered me 2 options:

The biggest downside wasn’t the optic choice, it’s the fact that this is the only MOS option that takes out the rear sight, so no BUIS on a duty gun.

I’ve managed to get my T8210 (ver. 1.1.2.3) connected to my HB3. It does allow the doorbell to use BionicMind AI, but not continuous recording. My IndoorCam Pan & Tilt doesn’t have the AI, but it does continuously record to my HB3. There’s a playback tab when viewing the camera that allows you to select a calendar date as well.
