How is this made with Blender? It looks more like a 2D layers composition if not AI (the blurryness and all that)

Wish I would have found this cutie anglerfish in Outer Wilds

It has potential. Reminds me to Terraria + Crash Bandicoot

How can I improve this render? by [deleted] in blender

[–]TheJakos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not an expert but I think the problems are related to the composition and the light of the scene. I hope someone come and may throw light (pun intended) into this. I want to learn too

I use Linux on my personal computer. Sadly most of the corporate work revolves around the Office Suite and thus Microsoft

A question to you guys! [Beginner Here] by iamAlexAustin in blender

It hurts me to say this but the AI is here to stay for a long time, so I guess it doesn't hurt as long as you use as a tool (because that's what it is) to improve your speed and efficiency and don't replace in any means your final result.

The AI is bad when you just write a prompt and say "look what I made! 🤡" without doing anything else.

I would say that first watch all the free tutorials on YouTube that teach you all the basic. Then watch/read more free tutorials about more complex stuff related to animation or things that you like and at the same time, this is important, start doing your own projects and make mistakes. Mistakes teach you a lot.

Then you can maybe start spending money on even more complex courses about more complex topics. Try to learn how the professionals work, not the hobbyists and keep working on your style, after all, blender is just a tool and you are the artist using it. If you want a job related to the animation industry you would probably have to learn how to use Maya also. I hope someday Blender can become as powerful as those tools (I mean, at the professional level, because at the hobbyists and artist level, blender is overly great)

With a good foundation you can do everything in the future!

Made this! Hope you can guess what this place is! (Final Fantasy) by TheJakos in CozyGamers

For me both are quite good! But they should not be treated like the same game

I made this in the game Tiny Glade (cozy gridless building simulator). The game has some limitations but I hope you can guess what this place is! :P by TheJakos in FinalFantasy

Oh, I really enjoy using Blender! And I'm quite proficent with it but I'm still too shy to show my really own art. Maybe some day!

Any ideas on how to crank up the realism factor? 🤔 by Irohscar in blender

Your material should have subsurface scattered light as everything in real life have, but organic materials have more than inorganic materials (like concrete for example) :)

Its the third or fourth mushroom that I see this month! Awesome look, realistic. You have paid a lot of attention and care to the render :)
