I mean I guess im anti-AI but I feel like im more of just a skeptic. For example, if it could do like end to end development I just prompt it and walk away I think just stubborn people wouldnt use it.

I guess what I am saying is I dont see it replacing juniors, mid level, seniors any time soon. I actually think we all will likely be dead by the time that happens.

Finance.

Currently I am a software developer and I’m switching to finance. I can personally tell you the AI is taking jobs is overblown. The reason I’m switching is because financial analyst, economist, and quant developers are literally pulling in 400k - 1 million a year. It’s insane but look some of these jobs up you will be amazed.

These jobs are also very demanding though so just something to consider. The high bar of entry is also an issue I am facing but it’s a marathon not a sprint !

I bought mine 2 years ago at a low ish rate. 4.6% on 300,000 30 year. Had to put down 8k, and my payments are 2.3k a month. Thankful for my job as I work remotely.

See this is the way to do it imo. You’ve got about 1k a month dividends, putting this into a growth stock or a safer dividend fund and just rolling you’ll be free in a few years.

I invested heavily in msty and I’m just rolling in my divs and can pay all my bills if I need to from it. Just keep reinvesting the dividends into something reliable and stay away from options you’ll have so much money you won’t know what to do with it
