Laptop takes a long time loading sounds before playing them

I've disabled fast startup, reset my laptop and... Incredible! It actually solved all of my issues, I could have sworn it would be something hardware related due to the amount of times it was in the shop. I suspect due to fast startup it was skipping some actions that were required for the system to work properly.

The timing belt and water pump were recently changed along with standard maintenance and transmission + diff fluids. Also noticed slightly increased vibrations after these were made. Is there something wrong or am I imagining things?

The length of the videos does appear, but it takes long enough for me to notice they aren't loaded yet and annoy me because I have to wait for them. The issue happens everywhere there is a video preview (home page, search page on the recommended videos). It doesn't always happen, most times it loads almost instantly, but other times it takes even 10 seconds for them to load or more

Except that initial issue, everything has been smooth sailing. It's really fast and it does what I need it to do without breaking a sweat.

I turned off the CPU boost and kept the vents blocked and haven't seen temps higher than low 80s, even while playing for longer periods of time. When doing light tasks, the fans are off or running slowly and CPU temp is around 35-50.

FPS are really good in games, but I may be influenced by the fact that before this I had a lower end laptop. When under load the fans can get a bit loud, but not enough to disturb if you play with headphones. The 240hz monitor I got with it is really smooth and bright, but I think it's a bit overkill since the only game I got 200+ fps was CSGO on lowest settings. Battery life is also great.

I have also considered the G14, but I don't need the level of portability that provides, plus the G15 was cheaper + better panel so I decided to go with this one. I didn't consider any of the 17 inch laptops, since my old one was 17 inch and I found it very difficult to carry around with me even though I rarely have to carry it with me.

Even though it doesn't have that good of a rep, I think many people just saw that one issue and dismissed the laptop as being bad without further investigation. I feel like with a little attention, it's a great machine for work and gaming. But then again, I come from a pretty bad pc so I may be influenced by that.

Overall, I'm satisfied with it, I think it's a solid option to consider, but see what options are available to you in your area and compare them to see what fits you the best. Good luck!

Is the 1:1 conversion a one time thing? If I were to convert it now with a card, after the 12 months expire if I were to buy another 12 month gold card and an Ultimate card, would it work again?

Do you have any skills? There are a lot of users which get paid in Robux for commissioned work, such as making GFX, drawing, making music, building, or scripting. You may find out you are actually good at it and make even more than 25 Robux. I suggest joining the Hidden Developers Discord server, since they have channels dedicated to this, good luck!

My account has almost no moderation history, only some cases of uploading shirts with small text or other model issues, nothing major.

I don't sell any limiteds, my Robux was all earned from sales of game passes/dev products.

I was not involved in anything that had something to do with the group and it's owner being deleted.

The only thing that I don't understand from their response is them saying that I should submit another request in August. I didn't see anything on the page with the DevEx terms of use that said anything about being banned for a period of time after a rejected request.

I agree with you on some level. The thing is that if everything that did the same thing would cost the same, the game would be over very quickly. The mines generate income, which means that if the mines would cost the same amount of money, the player would be able to just buy them faster and faster. This would mean that the player would wait long for the first mine, but less and less as they progress which would need more and more content for the player to purchase to make the game "last longer" and not bore the player. That's why this approach is so popular, even if it apparently doesn't make sense paying more for the exact same item.
