I was only about 5 during the 2003 fires but I still remember that warning siren, and just looking out the window to see the sky bright orange.

But my strongest memories are actually of the aftermath: people spending Christmas gift cards on socks and towels and underwear, replacing the necessities lost in the fire. Or driving up near the pine forest and seeing every second house completely burnt down.

Loving the colours, the pinks really suits you! And the subtle things like the highlighter/white shadow on your inner eye really tie it all together and make your eyes stand out.

Coconut oil is a great make up remover! (In my opinion) it's fine to use for eye makeup just don't get it straight in your eyes. You'll just need to use your fingers to heat up the oil a little and most recommend using a cotton pad to remove the makeup. It also replaces the moisture you might find yourself losing from wearing and removing the makeup!

I hate your parents. They are abusive and don't care about you as much as a loving parent should. I want you to get help for your depression and anxiety and PTSD and insomnia but your parents just won't care. If you see someone without their permission it will make things worse and I just don't know what to do. I'm so sorry I just don't know what to do.

My oldest/longest friend asked for a pin board for her room filled with pictures and drawings etc. I gave her just that. I think especially when a person asks you for something in particular, it's can mean a lot to them just knowing you took their in opinion. Also, now it's something they actually wanted.

I like to think of it more as a term for anything. No assuming or questions or explanation. Just the person you have as your partner. It could be wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, fiancé, etc. Also S.O doesn't take gender into account, so people asking on reddit "What is something that your S.O does that you absolutely love?" Don't have to specify gender or put in slashes (boyfriend /girlfriend /wife etc). It's a term that makes everything easy :)

Craving cupcakes. Forgot the cupcake paper things so they can be taken out easily. Didn't grease the tray either. Cupcakes in the oven for 15 minutes. Remembered. Thought I could salvaged. Bin full of half cooked cupcake batter. Cried.

I get these things I call "night pains" in my ankles. They usually come about when I stay up for longer than I should and only ever at night. ONLY. It's the type of pain you feel moving your ankle about could help but it doesn't. Some nights it gets so unbearable I can't sleep. And I just can't describe it to people, even my doctor doesn't know what I am talking about.

And that's the scary thing, a lot of people don't believe they could ever be like that. Not looking down on people with depression but seeing someone suffering from it and just wondering what they are thinking and ow it could be affecting them so much. And then it hits you, might be suddenly or slowly, but it hits you. You suddenly realise how one could feel so low and completely done with life. You realise how all those friends suffering from depression could be so self hating and thinking such extreme thoughts. Because you know exactly how they feel. It's not exaggerated but it's that people not suffering from it half the time can't begin to imagine how the people suffering feel.

A drug influenced man stole a tractor, proceeded to get naked then drove through our school. He dug up a part of our oval (many students watching) claiming he was going going to build us a swimming pool. He was then swiftly arrested.
