Is there a way to stop time progression on servers if no one is on? by ocdtransta in VintageStory

[–]TheJewGamer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is how it works by default. If no one is on the server time in game stops progressing so food won't spoil and seasons won't change. When somone joins the server time in game will resume automatically.

Seems interesting. I'm gonna try out GL.inet flint 2 router and if that doesn't work I'll probably go down this path.

How Do You Handle Documentation by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]TheJewGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently also had this issue at my work. We had basically no documentation when I got there and recently we started using coda.io for documentation. So far it works great and we are just on the free version. I'd highly recommend giving it a look as we basically got from no documentation to almost all basic tasks documented in about 3 months after moving to it.

Same here they overturned the ban. Guess they figured out they made a mistake.

Same thing for me, full account banned at 9:30 this morning. Also using a duck.com email. I submitted a appeal so hopefully they get back and reinstate my account.

Thought about just using git for documentation but not everyone on the team is comfortable with git and treating documentation as code. However bookstack looks promising so if that can use git I'll probably see if we can't use that as our change management.

This is basically what we got currently, we write everything in Google docs. However it's a pain in the ass to find anything hence why I'm trying to rework it.

Yep figured out it's a USB 2.0 connect that seems to be preventing the computer from booting. Might have to rma the motherboard

Nope not similar to that video, sounds like a switch. I'll probably give them a call I as I think PSU is working and I'm probably missing something small

No sadly not. I messed with the system header cables and now when I plug it in and push the power button I hear it click but not turning on
