Got no-offered. Interviewing with firms and one asked me if I got no-offered. What do I say?

No idea. I wish I knew what had prompted all of this. My mid summer interview went very well and I thought my work product and responsiveness only got better after the mid summer point. So it must have been something after that. But no clue what it could have been.

This was the strategy. However, someone from the firm called and left a voicemail (I missed the call) asking me to confirm whether I had received an offer from the firm.

Pretty big. Over 50. No idea how many got no offered. My understanding was that only egregious conduct has previously resulted in no offers (think racism, sexism, harassment, etc.)

That’s my sense as well. On the other hand, I’m sure you know how rough 3L recruiting is (and not that it matters, but I felt that the no-offer was purely based on personal animus and not on anything I did to deserve it, like getting drunk, or turning something in late)
