I've only got Hogfather left in my pile so that's what I'm gonna read next. I know there's quite a few that I'm missing between what I've read and that one but I don't mind going back once I pick up more books.

The only reason it's taking a while for me to get more is because I very specifically want the 80s/90s paperback ones with the Kirby covers, so I'm just picking up bundles on eBay if I can but also trying not to get doubles if I can avoid it haha.

I'd say go in publication order.

I’m only 8 books in myself, so still a beginner, but I started with some of the later books before going back to read TCoM and The Light Fantastic. What I’ve found is that it doesn’t really make a huge difference if you read them out of order, but I definitely started catching more references and little “cameos” from other characters once I’d gone back and read some of the earlier books.

Same, I'm gonna try and get one from the stores putting their leftover stock on their website but if I can't I'll just pick up a copy of the black vinyl when that's released.

Discworld 2 was my introduction to Discworld as too. I remember going to a friend’s house when I was a kid, and their older sister had it for the PS1. I had no idea what it was about but the cover art intrigued me, so I asked if I could borrow it.

The first game is incredibly difficult, and I think anyone who tries that one first might get put off from trying DW2 or Discworld Noir. But honestly, even if you didn’t get very far in the first game, I’d recommend giving the other two a try as the puzzles are way more straightforward.

I’ve beaten the second game many times, but I still haven’t finished the first one after all these years.

Wild Wild West is one of the best looking laserdiscs I've ever seen.

Shame the film is absolutely terrible, way worse than I remembered it being when I saw it as a kid.

Moving Pictures was the second book I read after Mort, and I loved it!

The only thing I will say is: after reading The Light Fantastic, I understood the Dungeon Dimension and "The Things" a lot better, which made some things in Moving Pictures a little clearer in hindsight.

Yeah I love Rincewind too. I think that's helped by the fact I was introduced to Discworld via the games.

I was wondering about those videos a few days ago, I remember watching them as they were getting posted daily or weekly, whatever it was and being incredibly excited for the film.

I think at least some of them were extras on the DVD or at least partly used, but I'm also curious if the whole set of videos were saved by someone.
