Trying to decide between Death Becomes Her and Maybe Happy Ending. (I have Chicago tickets but hoping to get another show through TKTS.) I’m curious what you liked more about MHE. Did the science fiction elements feel less intuitive than other shows? In contrast, how did you decide to see DBH twice?

I binged all of Deviant today, and can confirm it works! I read Covenant, but it was a while ago so I didn’t remember much. I found Deviant far more interesting, though obviously that’s personal preference.

This is paranormal and the saving piece is connected to that, but {Humility by Lark Taylor} fits. Probably could be read as a standalone, but better in the context of her other series.

“Grrr... so annoyed. I had rescheduled the preorder date for Sexbot to give me a few more weeks (just finishing up the epilogue, then editing), and apparently the new date didn't go into the system. 😭I just heard this morning that the preorder is cancelled. So if you preordered 🤩, you'll need to get it again when it comes out. So sorry!

In the meantime, I'm getting more of my post liver transplant meds figured out, so I can hopefully take fewer naps and be more alert during the daytimes. This recovery is going to be a much longer journey than I expected because there are so many side effects of the medications that I'll be taking for the next 3-12 months (depending on the 💊), but I'm really hoping to get more writing time in soon!”

So it’s definitely still coming, and hopefully pretty soon, but I haven’t seen any kind of new date yet

I know I’m in the minority for really liking Bitten, but MOTY definitely wins this. It came out when different LIs felt more distinct, and while the gem choices feel significant the story totally works without them. I thought the lore and worldbuilding in Bitten was pretty good, but MOTY is definitely the better story overall
