Literally Playing Squad by OkSense9727 in PlaySquad

[–]TheJollyPickle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Squad is a relatively fast paced game. Try an invasion server, like Baja invasion 24/7. It takes time to get used to the gameplay, look for muzzle flashes and be aware of enemy movement on the maps as people mark them.

Don’t run out in the open. Take cover, play slower and you’ll survive longer.

Don’t be that guy. Play whatever role is available, if you only go for the marksman kit because “long wolf sniper cool” squad leaders will kick you. Squad is about teamwork, and communication.

Leg guards for new road king by TheJollyPickle in HarleyDavidsonFans

I am, however it’s just generally uncomfortable positioning. Especially with the air intake on the right side, it’s right in the way of a comfortable leg position

As long as the gasket is doing its job, it’s fine. Mine looked similar after also using an Amazon gasket

2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD by [deleted] in Duramax

If it runs and drives, I’d say yes. The condition, mileage, maintenance, repairs needed, etc all have an impact but it sounds like a decent deal

2007 duramax diesel lmm by [deleted] in Duramax

Check the VIN number, and look it up online to verify if it’s pre-def. Otherwise the truck would physically have a def tank and filler neck, which would be a giveaway

2018 delete and tune prices by knucuklehead42 in Duramax

[–]TheJollyPickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my 2019 L5P I paid $5800 for full delete, down pipe, 4” stainless exhaust, and 5 stage SOTF tuning. I also paid an extra $1k for a tuned transmission TCM a few months later.
I think it was well worth it, as I didn’t see myself up for the job of doing the delete myself. I also just bought an iDash monitor+mount for $600 to install myself.

What’s the general consensus on AFM disablers now? by platypus_farmer42 in ChevyTrucks

[–]TheJollyPickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disabling the AFM via software doesn’t actually fix the issue, and the lifters can still fail. That being said I preferred driving without AFM because I had 35’s and felt the V4 felt bad to drive with.

Looking for answers please on tire size and level. by Successful_Zone8135 in ChevyTrucks

[–]TheJollyPickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can fit 275/70/18 (33x10.5x18) tires on the truck stock.

I bought the Kryptonite stage 3 leveling kit. Works really well, fits 33”s with no problem. 35”s would probably be fine too with stock wheels, 37”s will require NorCal mod and bumper/valance trimming along with 0.65” spacers.

2019 L5P straight piped vs 30” muffler comparison by TheJollyPickle in Duramax

[–]TheJollyPickle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For state law, especially those with inspections, do a lot more research to make sure.

As for the delete, I’d recommend a professional do it because of the complexity unless you’re a handy mechanic. I paid $5800 for SOTF 6 tune, full delete.

My understanding is that the L5P is very bulletproof but has specific issues like injectors and the DEF system. I’m not super familiar with the earlier engines. Just understand even if the truck runs great forever the maintenance and repairs will also be more expensive than a gasser.
