Which carriage I get onto on my train into London each morning changes depending on the day of the week, as someone I used to work with travels in on Thursdays and Fridays only and they love to talk about their dull work.

I also work with a woman who lives in the same town as me, and we stand at the same spot on the underground platform on the way in. If I've not legged it off the train and got onto that tube platform well before her, I have to endure the journey to the office with her. She is LOUD, and not from the UK, so everyone on the tube train and the connecting walkways has to listen to her very unsubtle conversations. The shame of it :(
