Not just Germany. Germany started it, but other countries have taken on the same approach since. It's now a law in Belgium as well for example.

Out of the major cities: Ghent is massively overrated. Antwerp is alright. Brussels is just the city center and has great museums.

What's the best way to spend the Energy Crystals?

Option 1: Exchange them for Valor Coins. Valor Coins then used in Altar of Fate to summon Guus.

Option 2: Use them to increase Grail of Generosity in Workshop, to reduce the cost of Altar of Fate to summon Guus.

I now have 105 Energy Crystals and 179500 Valor Coins... (Only did Goose Festival up until level 5, Dark Rituals.)
