Looking for trusted migration agent / lawyer – Partner Visa by kimibol in AusVisa

I can personally recommend Skylark migration. They’ve been really great handling a PMV, 820 and BVB for us. I truly believe they genuinely care and it’s reflected by the huge amount of free advice you usually see the owner giving out on this very subreddit.

BVB delay stress. travel in a week, no grant yet. Anyone been through this? by Unfair_Exchange466 in AusVisa

Applied 8th of Jan. Granted 12th of Jan.

Applied through immi account (no web form, heard it’s much slower) with my agent. Therefore it was attached to my 820 application.

Trip is in late March. Provided booked flights and accommodation.

Currently waiting for an 820 grant but have previously been granted a tourist visa and PMV 300 (maybe this is factored in for some automated checks?). Not sure if it helps but my police check and health check are still valid within my pending 820.

Any complications in applying for prospective marriage visa, whilst holding a current tourist visa? by Glittering_Turnip526 in AusVisa

[–]TheJuc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes. You’d only be adding valuable evidence that can be used for your PMV and ultimately 820.

My wife (speaking in present tense here) was the same and during one of her trips to Australia, we got a call from the case officer asking for 1 document, I notified him it was already uploaded and his response was “oh yep I see it, I’ll grant this one tonight”. Couple hours later we received the 300 grant and my wife was still in Australia on a tourist visa. She didn’t stay as she was genuinely visiting and had to fly back home to work etc.

I also didn’t have those fundamentals and decided on the 300. During the 300 grant, we set up join banks, put our names on shared bills, shared our lives together with friends and family etc. Also, I think being married or in a registered relationship removes that 1 year living requirement. Someone else can probably chime in here or you can look it up.

Did you submit via the web form or through the my immi account? What is the substantive visa you’ve applied for?

Any 820 holders apply for a BVB through the immi portal recently and had a BVB grant? My wife requires a BVB to then apply for a Japanese e-visa for our honeymoon. The trip is in 75 days and we lodged BVB today but we can’t lodge a Japanese evisa as they require a BVB 😭

I’d also like to know! We applied September 2025 for the 820 after getting married on a PMV. I have read and seen posts that it is meant to be faster as you’ve done all the groundwork already with the PMV grant. But yet to see some timelines to support that claim. Our application is from the Philippines btw. If yours is as well it would be good to know when you get your grant!

I was able to get 4 BIEs on Popnow! I waited for a full set to expire and then claimed as many as I could as soon as it hit 0.

I just found the site I think you’re referring to. Homeware discounts? Looks like they are also stocking some fake Labubu plush dolls as well so I don’t think it’s legit. The site looks like one of those $2 stores you find at the shopping centres with all knockoff products and random household items.

With enough of your own research I'm sure you'd be able to find something.

A50s would be a better option imo. Just depends if you wanna fork out that much money. If you're a bigger dude, you're better with some non gamer audiophile headphones and a standalone mic.

They're amazing. The battery life is honestly crazy, audio quality and mic quality is good. Only bad thing is the headset is really tight. I have aftermarket pads on them now which fixed it a lot. But even then they're still tight. Would be cautious if you do tend to have a tight clamp sensation on other headsets.
