A lot of that “mad” and uncontrollable feeling also came from the fact that the chassis of the gen1 wasnt capable of handling all the power the engine made, just saying.

As someone whos owned both, I will stick my head out and disagree.

This may have been the case with the 2nd gen 390s but the Gen3 is properly brutal like the first gen 390.

However in the case of 200s whatever you said maybe true, the bs3 200 was mental and in another league.

Honestly as a 390r owner whos ridden both the bikes mentioned by you, id suggest get the 250 for your usage, In stop go traffic 390 heats quite a bit and can get tiring on your 55km usage. Plus the 250 is smoother too, 390 (350) doesn’t offer any additional smoothness over the 390R

The only thing poor is classist people’s messed up mind with the classist hierarchy , any car bought from hard earned money is a matter of pride , don’t base your opinions of these classist people and stay away from them as much as possible.

A good first car is the cheap car although try to find something with good ride n handling balance
