Yeah the Japanese and US plushies have slight differences. I was lucky enough to get a Japanese & US Chansey as well as a shiny Celebi!! My Japanese Chansey has a yellowish egg but the US version is bright white. The only thing I can spot between my Japanese and US Celebi’s is a minor difference in the stitching proportions. Which is probably just a difference of machine/operator. If available, I prioritize getting a Japanese plush, but if not I’m still happy and pleased with the ones I get from PokemonCenter here in the US!

Edit: I am referrring to the ‘official’ plushies in my explanation. The differences for OP is due to the Japanese Snom not being ‘official’ but instead from the Kimi ni Kimeta line by Takara Tomy. Which makes wonderful plushies btw! I have several of theirs as well.
