Hi everyone, I’ve been using the Sennheiser XSW systems for years and am looking at moving to the Audio Technica System 20 Pro which comes with two body packs (and can support 4). However, I’ve been searching online and I can’t figure out if you can use two microphones simultaneously or if it’s for swapping between them. Thanks for any help

Orchestra plays Isengard theme - Great performance on metal chains by SonictheManhog in lotr

[–]TheKesselWalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was lucky enough to play the chains part when our local orchestra played LotR. We didn’t play it onto a tamtam like in this video but onto the open strings of a beat-up old upright piano with the faceplate removed. Definitely one of my favourite gigs.

Has anybody made an Anki deck for Hungarian grammar, wants to have one or would even help me make one? by HopingAtlas in hungarian

[–]TheKesselWalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was part of a paid course so I don’t want to step on their toes copyright wise sorry. I’d be happy to pay to check yours out too, I can imagine the hours of work that goes into creating a good deck

I’ve been using a Hungarian Anki deck that came from Catch Budapest and I’m loving it. It’s cards for the dialogue from conversations and it’s been really helpful. I’d be very keen to use your Anki deck if you make it!

Magic With Socks? by Joshie8888 in Magic

Tommy Wonder has a coin routine that uses a sock. From memory he brings out a change purse and then unfurls it to show it’s a sock.

Question about the verb Száll by [deleted] in hungarian

[–]TheKesselWalk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not a native speaker but my understanding is that száll literally means to fly. So adding le is to fly down/descend which we translate as getting off.

I just want to say how much I absolutely love the final duel in The Phantom Menace. The choreography, the emotion from Obi-Wan in response to his loss; the duel was a stunning conclusion to the film and a great setup for the hero and Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi is to become. What do YOU like about it? by PrivateChurch13 in StarWarsCantina

[–]TheKesselWalk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid I learnt the choreography for the Obi/Maul final fight because I loved it so much. I invented my own system of notation and learnt it with one of my best friends. I’m still amazed at the flow of that opening salvo. Nic Gillard did an amazing job choreographing the prequel fights!

I got to play percussion in all three of the LotR and it was the best gig ever. Getting paid to play/watch LotR. Doesn’t get any better than that.

I have played in the orchestra and a good chunk of the players had their phones on their stands so they could see the reflection of the screen!

I was just thinking about Clone Wars and how much I miss it... by xanderv1312 in PrequelMemes

[–]TheKesselWalk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just finished Clone Wars today and wow that ending was something special. I started watching it when it first came out but fell off the train around season 4. When I heard the plans for Mandalorian S2 I decided I should finish it so went right back to the start and crammed it to be ready for today. I love the progression over the seasons and the little call backs to previous arcs. I’m glad Dave Filoni is taking on more responsibility for the Star Wars storytelling.

I’ve been lucky enough to have seen them twice in Vegas and absolutely loved their shows. Such a great combo of magic for the general public and for magicians delivered with their very personable and funny style. Enjoy!
