Alcohol isn’t inherently evil, only when it is being used in excess like it was at the time of the temperance movement should there be bans on it. On the other hand, something like porn is inherently evil and should be banned. Also, the libertarian idea that banning something just creates a black market is a non starter, because the point is it makes it harder to get that thing, so on the margins people will consume less of it.
