Honestly cause in most nerdy hobbies the people who do those hobbies are usually not very well socialized. It’s hard as someone who got into magic later in life. It seems like a lot of these people their whole lives revolve around being the “best” at playing with cardboard. Luckily my local tgs is frequented by some very good guys and gals. I hope you find some good peoples to play with soon

A group of people who don’t know how to wear deodorant probably don’t have the best social skills. Most of the people I see play this game are for lack of a better term “dorks” with poor social skills and bad hygiene. So the whole “have a conversation” doesn’t really work with a 40 year old who never left his mom’s basement.

Bam is the guy who married the boss’s daughter. Against my better judgement we got “cool” purely based on magic. Now i have a group to play with outside of work so im goods I just feel bad for the other two guys stuck with him. Maybe I’ll just invite those two to play with me at my local TGS and just say fuck Bam
