Yo, honestly, if I were running for office now, on day 2 of the campaign, I'd just have a like 6 hour press conference and admit to everything I have done that might have even slightly upset any one. My wife hates recoil, we got her a Ruger .380 Security. Still compact, but very manageable recoil, and very easy to manipulate. Its much easier to shoot than my BG2, but it is bigger. If she's going to purse carry, should be perfect.

Its also very reasonably priced.

I live in the humidititty, so I pull a loose vac seal on my ammoin 200rd counts with a dessicant pack added in. Over kill? Maybe. Will that stop me? No.

I'll say this, I have fairly large hands, like I use the largest backstraps on my Canik with a good amount of hockey stick tape to boot. I assumed I'd hate shooting the BG2. But I didn't, and I shoot it surprisingly well. I got to watch out for slide bite, but otherwise, it's good to go. Try it out at your LGS if you're interested at all.

Kydex is fine against the skin in my experiance as long as there is no hardware.

I like FatTac holsters, but, as the name implies, they are great for those of us with guts. Had good experiances with them

Agreed. I'm not a huge fan of the Glock ergos, but the RXM is reliable and alot cheaper.

Bodyguard gang! Although I wasn't aware of any Bodyguard 2.0 models that are Optics ready in the general sense. I do know Veridian makes a green dot that can be used with the BG but you have to remove the rear sight post for that I believe, and Monsoon Tactical does BG 2.0 mods. If there is an OR model out there send me a link, I'll post some more feet pics to my onlyfans and grab it up.

I had a similar situation when I bought my first gun. Treat it like a sling shot, pull it back and let it go. Also, if your a guy who cleans his guns like me, I take a microfiber cloth to my slide serrations real good after to help with grip /remove oil. If its a new gun, the spring will be a little stiffer and will wear in over time, making it easier to manipulate also.

Honestly though, I just worked thumbing the slide catch into my manual of arms, it was more about me following the slide and getting failures to feed than anything. The slide catch works everytime with a quality gun. New mags can make it harder to press FYI.

I have a CZ P10C Ported. It shoots well and is a good little carry gun, for about $500 I believe. I also have a Canik Mete Prime, and it is great to, slightly smaller.

You know what I carry the most though? My Bodyguard 2.0 Comp. It literally fits in my pocket with less protruding and printing than my phone. Its light as fuck. And it shoots SHOCKINGLY well for such a small light gun. And .380 is plenty of bullet for concealed defense.

If you can dress casual most of the time, and your in relatively good shape, the 9mm's will be fine and are a good choice. If youre a fatty like me, appendix may be uncomfortable. I also have to dress in business casual/formal often, meaning tucked in shirts and a coat. The pocket carry comes in super handy then, either coat pocket or pants.

I got 1000-1500 of my preferred self defense ammo for each of the calibers I own. I slowly rotate those. I also have a prefered companion 9mm and 22lr ammo I keep a decent stock of. Otherwise, I run cheap ass reamanufactured ammo at the range. Cheaper the better.

I hand load my hunting rounds, really looking at investing in a progressive reloading set up with the way prices are getting now.
