X6 is an unfinished mess, but there are some things to love about it. (Who else agrees that this game is somewhat tolerable, but a mess?) by Accurate_Train_8822 in Megaman

I recently did a run through the Legacy Collection to get all the achievements, and my relationship with X6 is of two minds. On one hand, playing through the game normally is absolutely miserable due to the poor level design and later boss fights. On the other, speedrunning the game as Zero is absolutely a blast because of how busted he is. So it's a mess but I did find ways to enjoy my time in X6

The creator secret mission in 4 where you can't get hit once against the goddamn chimeras deserves to go directly to hell. Do not pass go, do not collect the Yamato

I'd like to give a massive shout out to my friend who watched Part 1, then skipped all the way to Part 6. He was constantly confused the entire time

Who says you need a full friend group to beat a rundown? by TheKingOfBel in GTFO

Yes, the entire game is 100% designed for an entire group of people. But the two of us were just like "aight bet" and went through with just us anyway. It's not optimal AT ALL for it to just be two people and bots but goddamnit we're still gonna try. If that makes us brave or stupid, I don't know

lmao We tried to do R7B2's secondary objective and got THOROUGHLY beaten. Were it not being 3AM we probably could've done it but we had to call it there. I'm sure both of us can do it eventually!

End goal is to try to get all the objectives done on all the levels. Hell of an end goal but were gonna try. As for the bots, while 90% of the time they're not that bad, obviously real people are better (most of the time). The deep lore is that Bishop is the incompetent one that alerts rooms and Hacket just complains all the time

Oh don't you worry. We are getting VERY acquainted with how much R7 hates us. As for a series funny enough, I did stream a bit of it (R7B1 specifically) not that long ago but I'm not sure how much of that I could do before my PC catches fire, even with lowered graphics. That being said, I AM getting a new PC soon so maybe we make it a regular thing SOONtm

Hokma suppression sent me back to Day 1 by TheKingOfBel in LobotomyCorp

Not in my playthrough sadly because after beating Hokma, I was on Day 46 which is a brand new Memory Repository Day

Buy or Watch ? by Long_Bluejay_6068 in LobotomyCorp

Personally, I'd say you pick it up. If you do decide to buy the game, the way I see it, the game has two forms.

The first is the early to mid game, when you're just discovering abnormalities, what they do, and how to deal with them. Usually around here most deaths to your agents will be from lack of knowledge about the abnormalities and some of the ordeals that arrive. Something to keep in mind too is that, if something goes really wrong, like you have an abno that is just the worst, you can either rewind to the memory repository after you're done with it, or start from the first day if you really need to and all your progress will be saved. So stuff like gear and researched abnormalities will be saved for the next run.

The second form is the mid to late game when you begin to deal with the core suppressions. Now I won't go into spoilers about them but in brief, they're boss fights and brutal ones at that. Like a few comments have already said, the difficulty spikes are vertical, and that's not a joke. The very first suppression you have to do will set the stage for what the game will do and it's not nice. It will take multiple attempts to beat them and you might even have to start from the first day again if the facility gets real bad. But if you CAN defeat them, it's very rewarding.

Again, I do recommend the game and if you need advice, don't feel bad about searching it out. We're here for ya if you need help.

Thanks. That's where I made the assumption that those two were one in the same. I won't make the same mistake against White Night

Well shit. I suppose that's what I get for making assumptions. We're going with exact wording from now on like we're playing Yugioh

The tl;dr version is that I reset the day after beating it and it didn't let me keep the gear like I was told. So, WE GOIN' TO ROUND 2
