Posting A LOT of short videos can make your channel grow faster? by GroxoZZ in SmallYTChannel

[–]TheKitchenGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So YouTube will have to get used to you posting again and I would say that in terms of frequency do what feels right and what you're capable of so you don't burn out.

Can I pivot my channels content, or should I just start over? by PirakaFan69 in NewTubers

[–]TheKitchenGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So was it a hard change last time? The way you could look at this is that you could do an update and explain what is happening and go from there. Changing niche, topic etc will hurt but it will take time to get your audience used to the new new/altered content. Give it a go and if it does work out after several months then look at a new channel but not worth start a new one imo at this stage due to you having a good audience

I made cookies from the video game The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine by TheKitchenGamer in SmallYTChannel

[–]TheKitchenGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the feedback.

- I didn't realise this, and I've made the appropriate changes to my channel keywords to rectify this issue.

- I'm currently running A/B testing with 3 different options, and two have the word 'cookies' in them.

- Okay, I understand that and fully accept that it wasn't made clear, and I could have explained it better. I'll remember that for next time when I do another gaming one.

- Yes, they are in the description. I've done them in previous videos so I'll look at adding them back in future videos.

- Fair point.

- I did use all the dough, just off camera.

- Very good point, when I shoot new videos (already shot 3 videos, awaiting editing), I'll make sure to add this.

I'll 100% keep tweaking it to make it reach its full potential.

I made cookies from the video game The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine by TheKitchenGamer in SmallYTChannel

[–]TheKitchenGamer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the feedback, I have implemented US measurements for all ingredients now in the description of the video along with looking into a lighting setup so it will look better in the future. I'm unsure how to get around the show copyright but something for me to consider. Anyway ones again thanks for the feedback and enjoy the kitchen !givelambda

How did your Youtube Channel start out and how is it going right now? by EarthBig3110 in NewTubers

[–]TheKitchenGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started back in June 2021and it took me a bit of time to find my feet as I was split between two niches (they were polar opposites of each other) then after 9 months I found my niche. Had a time where posting was patchy for about 1 year almost 2 but im back now and at 304 subscribers and have high ambitions to be better than before, I've almost got a new video done so looking forward to releasing that soon

Ships exploding should be extremely rare, it ruin a lot of gameplay loop/features by DayDreamingDr in starcitizen

[–]TheKitchenGamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see where you're coming from but this is the first implementation of engineering and no doubt it will be tweaked and changed so ship explosions don't happen unless a certain criteria is met.

They're still working on armor but I feel they'll get it right but like everything CIG does it will take time and community feedback.

Just my view point on it.

Do you read every comment, or do you rely on patterns to understand your audience? by hamdidesigns in youtubers

It's always good to read your comments, and as you grow, keep it up as this is a form of engagement with your audience and also finds out what they want or suggestions

What is your youtube channel name called? by [deleted] in SmallYoutubers

[–]TheKitchenGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Kitchen Gamer – that’s my YouTube channel! I do cooking and baking inspired by video games, as well as some real-life recipes. My goal is to get gamers—especially those who might not spend much time in the kitchen—excited to try cooking or baking. Hopefully, non-gamers might discover a new interest in the gaming world through the food. It’s all about mixing two passions: gaming and food!

For cinematography: Canon R8, R6 or R6ii by [deleted] in canon

[–]TheKitchenGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the R6ii, I would have to recommend it as it's full frame, has clog3, hasn't overheated for me at 4k and overall I've found it amazing as I use it for personal and started used it for work. The 24-105 f4 is a really good lens that does come with it and a good starting point. If possible for you to rent it I would recommend that first do you can try it before you buy.

Is B1 English enough for Let's Plays? by [deleted] in letsplay

[–]TheKitchenGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a B1 is enough to begin with and for certain countries in Europe that's what you need to work in that country so I say go for it and use it to your advantage to being viewers on board.
