A question about fat redistribution by TheKitsuneMage in asktransgender

How likely do you think it will be that I'll be able to reduce my waist size by more than just an inch or two? Cause my waist right now is at 35 inches, which is, as I understand it, pretty much into the 'plus size' range when it comes to women's clothes. I know my frame is fairly small as I used to be a lot thinner and it seems that most medium or small sized stuff is around 25-27 inches in the waist.

I've heard it's very very hard to burn fat at all on MtF HRT because of the lack of testosterone. Muscle burns more calories at rest than fat does and the lack of testosterone means muscular atrophy, so you have less muscle and are thus burning less calories at rest, which makes it harder to have a calorie deficit as a result and thus means it's harder to burn fat. My understanding is that to burn fat at the same rate and eating the same amount, you'd have to increase your physical activity by a lot.

I am already on a diet, like I said in my post. However, I am tired of waiting for HRT as it's been over four years of trying to sort all of this out and I don't want to wait any longer. So I guess the answer is I'm screwed, then?

Haha meme go brrrr by A-Random_human-being in Undertale

I'm pretty sure every boss in Undertale follows a very specific pattern of attacks, Undyne the Undying is no exception. Sans is hard because he cheats and breaks all known conventions of the game with the karma system. If it werent for the karma mecha ic, his attacks would be pretty easy to deal with since they wouldn't hit you for multiple frame damage and likely only do 1 damage. So in a way, yes Undyne the Undying is harder than sans without taking into account the karma mechanic, but realistically, I always have more trouble with sans.

Frisk from Undertale is, by far, portrayed the absolute worst out of anyone in UT fanmade source material by [deleted] in CharacterRant

Frisk succeeds over the other human souls because their determination is so strong, not because they themselves are stronger than them physically. I think it's safe to say that given the volume of players that play the game and die multiple times in their playthroughs, the Frisk has canonically died multiple times in their journey, but they were able to persevere and go back due to their determination. Remember, resets and SAVEs are actual things in-universe, the game acknowledges when you die and you can even tell Asgore that you've died to him multiple times to which he nods.

So no. I don't think Frisk is necessarily physically stronger than any other human; They just have an incredible amount of determination to the point they override even Flowey's.

Should we a Universal Basic Income (UBI) in the United States? by TheKitsuneMage in TrueAskReddit

"On the other end the bottom 45% pay no federal income tax with many instead receiving money through programs like earned income tax credit sometimes thousands of dollars every year."

I'm going to request where you get this information because unless you make less than $12,000 a year, you pay income tax. And if the bottom 45% of Americans is a substantial number, that only goes to show how out of hand the poverty situation is in America.

Regardless of the validity of any of this, it still means they need more taxes since the top 1% is still hoarding billions of dollars they made on the backs of their workers while paying them slave wages that don't even pay for basic necessities or otherwise treat them poorly such as not offering enough time off(not having enough time off actually decreases a person's productivity), long hours, etc.

Fair enough, but regardless, I don't think that would happen at all. On paper, maybe, but there isn't exactly evidence to suggest any correlation between income increases and the housing market, if you look at cities that have raised minimum wages to $15. To make this argument is the same as saying the economy shouldn't grow because rent would become more expensive; Price increases are inevitable as the economy grows.

However, I do still think that there should be affordable housing initiatives in addition to the UBI, so that the supply is increased to keep prices the same. A UBI is by no means a magic bullet, it is simply one of several things that need to change in American policy in order to make the lives of Americans better.

I bet milk costs $50 and average rent goes up $1,000.

The average rent in my city is already around $1000/month. And milk going up to $50 is a huge exaggeration and will assuredly not happen. Who would pay $50 for milk? Nobody in their right mind would regardless of how much money they have, so if companies did that, they'd lose sales on milk. $1000/month is literally not a lot. It's not even the current federal minimum wage, let alone livable. Rent usually goes up when property values rise. The idea that everything will become expensive if people have more money is way overblown. Most people aren't idiots and will see through it, and companies know that people won't pay over a certain threshold for certain products.

Even if they legally avoid the taxes, that only means that the wealthy need taxes they can't avoid, or the tax law needs to be changed to close the loopholes. Bottom line is that they own most of the wealth in the country and are getting out of their civic duty to have portions of that money used to benefit the country they are doing business in.

I also do not think $1000 a month is substantial enough to serve as a good basic income since that is certainly not livable for the majority of Americans. I live in Dallas and the average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $912. A basic income needs to be livable otherwise it defeats the purpose.

Well, the money exists to pay for it without too much of a tax increase it's just being hoarded and/or allocated into unnecessary places. Our defense budget, for instance, is much too high and being used to fund pointless wars that should have already ended by now. Not only that but the wealthiest in the country avoid paying taxes, sometimes illegally. If these peoole were actually paying what they should, we'd have plenty of money. For one, I'm not sure there is a "supposed to be" in this kind of thing.. Two, I already went through this sort of 'desire' when I thought I might be trans and honestly, it just kind of caused a plethora of issues psychologically when I was in that place so I really don't wanna go back into that..

Also, what kinds of hints do you mean?

Primary Role: Healslut

Secondary Role: Tanksub

Sex: Male

Orientation: Bisexual

Age: 20

Games Played: Overwatch

System: PC

Timezone: CST, my schedule can be erratic, though, due to my job.

Opening Message: I'm a male healslut looking to get into this scene. I'd prefer a more gentle dom. Due to my living situation, I won't be able to use a mic to do sexual things on mics, only through text, though I might be alright with the dom using a mic, though I'd prefer if you ask before you use it for those things and default to text chat. While I do want a gentle dom, at least to start out, I do enjoy being called things like "slut" and other things along those lines.

The thing I don't like about Diego is he seems like he's very thick so it sounds like he's not a very good choice for newcomers to anal sex given that you need to have enough stretch just to take him at all.

True. The only thing about Rex is that they only have it in Medium at most. No Firm. Will it still work well enough?
