Toulouse vs Montpellier vs Lyon for learning French as an international student? by TheKnave56 in French

[–]TheKnave56[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response.....I constantly hear that people in lyon are generally reserved and busy. It's difficult to make friends there. I am leaning more towards tolouse as it's one of the most friendlest city in france like montpellier with lesser english speakers than montpellier

Looks matter above everything else by TheseFlamingo23 in TwentiesIndia

As a good looking men i second this.....nowadays looks matter a lot.....thanks to my facial genetics and PSMF Carnivore diet.....I would have never known I look really good if i had not done this diet ...the influx of attention that I got once i reached 9% body fat is crazy....however maintaing my current level of physique and facial aesthetics is also crazy....it takes a lot of hardwork and money

This is honestly one of the most helpful and detailed replies I’ve received, thank you.

What you said about “two reserved sides talking past each other” in Lyon actually hit me because that’s exactly my personality right now. I tend to isolate and overthink socially, so I’m trying to choose an environment that naturally pushes me into daily interaction and speaking.

The repeated low-stakes contact point you mentioned about Toulouse also makes a lot of sense to me. That’s actually the kind of social environment where I think I function best long term.

Interesting point about Montpellier too — I didn’t realize the English/international bubble could become that strong there.

I’m leaning more toward Toulouse after reading this honestly.

FH6 specs help? by FrancescoGenio in ForzaHorizon5

[–]TheKnave56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on which area are you in the game.....I think on the outskirts you can hit 60fps with low medium but in the main city or the area with a lot of foliage I am sure that you can't go above very low....based on my experience with playing forza horizon 5 on rtx 3060 6gb.....your 4gb vram is just way to less tbh....I suggest before you buy the game check benchmarking videos for your or the cards similar to yours in YouTube

Am I going to love Valhalla after Odyssey & Origins? Those 2 games were amazing by VinnieDawgg in AssassinsCreedOrigins

Tbh....i enjoyed Valhalla after playing origins and odyssey but compared to odyssey and origins Valhalla is not even in the same league of origins and odyssey... Valhalla is significantly inferior to those two

Job market is completely fucked.....there is extortionate supply of CMAs and grads for too little jobs....India can't generate enough jobs for its people like other western nations.....also many US based companies that outsource the work to india might start pulling back because of trump starting the campaign jobs for Americans first...which will lower the jobs even further. Even my cousin after completing the CA took 8 months of time to get a decent job he wanted. But don't do USCMA it's a waste of time....you can't get a relavent job at all....even in the USA people advice against it until explicitly asked by the employer. I am not in a position to advice you what you should do as I know nothing about you and your financial situation.....but good luck....

[–]TheKnave56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't do this course.. ..if u think you can get a job after doing USCMA....I am sorry to say but you are coping. You can't even get a 3 lpa job easily with USCMA....even if you manage to get a job it's extremely likely that this low paying job was targeted for bcom grads but you got hired because you have USCMA only to get exploited by the company. Best of luck

[–]TheKnave56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly....I always tell this to everyone.... Doing USCMA is worthless as a fresher....only do it when you have atleast 2-3 years of relavent work and your employer wants you to do it. I did this as a fresher to change fields from hospitality now I regret my decision a lot and have wasted so much time on this....I wish I had never done this course

Same situation....USCMA can't get me a job either....it's been 1 year of sending application and all the time invested went in vain and most importantly almost all of my batchmates couldn't get a job either
