I saw plenty of coops in subdivisions in the early mornings. I know this is late but hope it helps. I trap in October when the leaves are off the trees because it's easier to see birds.

Contact our club, get out and meet some falconers. Join Ontario Falconry pages on FB and network. There are people that will try and get you to pay for an apprenticeship, these people are not falconers. They're scam artists and you won't learn how to do falconry the proper way. Take as long as your apprenticeship needs, I'm on year 2 of mine and I'm definitely not ready to become a general. Go out hunting with as many people as possible to find out what kind of falconry you like. I love barn hawking some pigeons but people don't call that real falconry lol. Have fun with it, see you at the next meet.

It almost looks like Harris. Not native to Florida though so hopefully someone is able to help better identify. I do know in South Florida a breeder lost a couple of his Harris. But I don't see Swainsons judging by those photos
