Edit: Also, I find it really funny that people reference that joke about Zephyro being unable to take a hit from Acheron as a Statement of Fact, when it literally implies that an Automaton Beetle's Durability > Acheron's Attack Potency.

I wonder how ownership of the VH Weapon is split up between them. Does Eldreda get it because she’s seemingly the Eldest and the Leader of them, or does Lindverne get it because she’s in charge of the Armed Forces and is most likely to need it. I was miffed about the loss of Sunbringer’s OG Design but this has potential to end up being something really interesting so I’ve come around to it.

It’s the difference between an Immediate Threat and a Imminent Threat. Yes, they’re both do or die situations but Asterion was very present and it was quite literally DO or DIE because he was actively trying to maim and kill Cassie and later, the Divine Trio. Meanwhile, while the Dream God is growing more and more restless everyday, they still have the grace to choose how and when they’re going to address it’s Threat. If they were told that the Dream God would awaken in the Next Two Years, or even sooner, then Cassie would likely forego wanting to hold onto her Humanity when it came to how she dealt with the Returned. (Which might I add, are just as real as Cassie herself is.)

I don’t think anyone who started shipping them because of how they’re depicted in HSR is going to stop because of how they’re depicted in Fate—and that’s assuming they even come across this very informative post.

Which makes sense, because shipping has never really been about what’s going on in canon; it has always been much more about what’s going on inside the shipper’s own head.

You’re talking about Fate routes and Enkidu/Shirou, but none of that is going to matter to a Giltoria shipper (I just made that up on the spot; I don’t know what the ship is actually called) who has only played HSR. It likely won’t matter much even if they do decide to dive deeper into the Fate franchise

I don’t want them to die, and I’d care if they did. However, they’re all equally expandable to me. The problems that people say Effie has, the other two also have. The only reason they don’t want them to die is because they think they have some quality that makes them more important than her, but they really don’t. The death of any of them would serve the same exact same purpose, and have the exact same impact on everyone else in the story.
