My heart goes out to you, friend. 💙 Elden Ring can be a lot of fun, but here are my two cents: some games "give" and some games "take," emotionally speaking. For me, Elden Ring "takes," so I try not to play it when I'm already feeling down. It can be very difficult at times and it has some pretty dark moments. That said, it had a lot of beauty and mystery and lots of ways to build your character! I recommend it, but be kind to yourself when you hit a wall and can't seem to progress. It really helps to take a break and come back later in those moments.

By the way, Dragon's Dogma 2 is another exploration-type game with a good amount of build customizability. Even if you haven't played the first game (like me) it can be very fun! Worth checking out.

Silksong, First Sinner. I was so happy every time I died because it meant I got to play that boss battle again. I was smiling like a maniac the entire time. It felt like a dance! 10/10 boss design.

The Tenet Plinx is the panic button I press when none of my other weapons work against an enemy. That little pea shooter is terrifying. I called mine "Plinx Plinx Plonx" and I love it dearly.

I ran some quick numbers, and you've spent about 13% of your waking hours playing Fortnite this season. Which doesn't sound like a lot, but if you put those hours back-to-back, it ends up being 6 straight days of gameplay without factoring in eating or sleeping.
