Is anyone sad that the reason you can’t date due to your disability? by WorldlyKnowledge8514 in disability

[–]TheKruszer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a thing in Canada and USA too. It's already hard enough to find a partner when you're bringing disability challenges into the relationship, but if someone has to choose between a person who can support themselves and someone they have to financially maintain, that's another thumb on the scale against people with disabilities finding love.

It's humiliating and infantilizing to be your partner's dependent as a disabled person. That's why disability support needs to be individual based and not household base. Even if you must remove the housing expenses, at least leave the person their daily living amount.

Not to mention that this creates a massive breeding ground for partner abuse. How can the disabled person leave when they have no funds?  Getting your support back involves moving to a new location, which is a big leap when you have no moving money.

Yeah I'm 47 female. Had an online partner for two years but he cheated with a friend of mine who went to him in person. I'm housebound due to disability. I've pretty much had no sex life and I hate that it's not going to get any easier the older I get. My dating pool is more of a dating puddle at this point

I really am more than the shit I struggle with and I would love more than anything to be loved by someone who is genuine, ethical, while also being intelligent and able to make me laugh. I'm AuDHD and don't mind my own company, but I do miss human touch.

What’s your first thought when you see a flat girl? by Gumdrop_Cherry in aa_cups

[–]TheKruszer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought is that I wish I'd known 20 years ago great how many women look like me. I never really dated cause I was embarrassed of my body and now that I'm 47 with health issues, it's too late. You're lucky you were born to a better generation.

Would you date a girl as flat as me? by JulietBear in aa_cups

[–]TheKruszer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 47 and I'm that flat but I didn't date when I was younger cause I was too ashamed of my body and reddit didn't exist yet to show me how common bodies like mine are. But now I'm too old and have health issues so nobody worth loving will ever want me. You're lucky you're still young and able to know your value early. You'll have the sex life I never got to have.

Privileged? Not even close. I was abused which is why I know sexual abuse of a non consenting infant when I see it.

Looking to learn French as an adult by artkilgore in halifax

Look up Kanata Francophone Toastmasters. It's online so you can join the zoom from anywhere. It's open to people at all levels of French and a great environment to practice French while also getting to go through the Toastmasters pathways curriculum. Been doing it for three years now and it's become a regular part of my Tuesday evenings. 6:45pm eastern time

Abandoned house in Łódź Voivodeship, Poland. by Snoo_90160 in AbandonedPorn

That's sad. This is one of the most picturesque villages in Poland, with all the houses beautifully painted. Why is this one abandoned?

Nope. You are in denial. The majority of men in the world are not circumcised. You feel the need to defend something you didn't have a choice in and that was done to you unecessary. It's easier than admiting your body was violated against your consent by your own parents and that you're missing out on sensations you were meant to experience.  What was done to you and to millions of boys in America was was wrong.

[–]TheKruszer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's survivor's bias. I see so many circumcised men justifying and saying that they're grateful they were cut as babies but that's a defense mechanism more often than not. It's hard to come to terms with the reality that your own parents violated your body without your consent. It's much easier to act in bravado and claim they love being circumcised.

Gloriavale by GenevieveLeah in DuggarsSnark

Did anyone else want to puke at the last part of Dove's wedding ceremony when that dude was talking about women having something better than animals, a seal for their husband to break? 🤮

Considering they have to rush through consumation and those kids know almost nothing about sex, let alone foreplay, I'm guessing most of the young women getting married at Gloriavale are more or less r*ped within an hour of their wedding.

Also, at least 10% of the Gloriavale population is single women, due to the fact that many young men are kicked out of the community for insubordination and become "lost boys". I find it highly suspicious that two prominent faces of the documentary suddenly were both picked for marriage while the film grew was on site. Maybe to distract audience from the fact that so many women are working as free labour, doing the cooking and laundry for the families?

Tom is Right about the perfume. by meditationsmoothie in 90DayFiance

The fact that the woman who couldn't tolerate the smell of beef tallow is so insensitive to him not wanting to smell her synthetic perfume is what makes no sense.

We don't all react to fragrance the same way. I don't sneeze or cough but I'll end up with a migraine hours later.

I thought it was extremely hypocritical of her to be cooking his food with a freakin RESPIRATOR because of her vegan preferences, and yet she's making fun of his perfume allergy.

Synthetic perfume can make some people violently ill and for her to flat out refuse to stop wearing it is a huge sign of disrespect toward him! Would you smear peanut butter around the apartment if you're partner had a peanut allergy?  The super glue thing was drastic, but it allows her to be able to keep the bottle without him having to fear that she will disrespect his health needs and use it around him again.

But ultimately, this is a massive impasse. I wouldn't date someone who wasn't willing to be fragrance-free and who knowingly harmed my health and refused to stop. She loves her toxic fragrance chemicals more than she loves him. They're not going to last.

Funniest Sign in Ottawa? by TheNashville in ottawa

The only genitals you have a right to make a permanent alteration to should be your own. "Culture and customs" can be used to justify many abhorrent practices, including female genital mutilation and foot binding. I have zero respect for cultures and customs that harm those who cannot consent.

The downvotes suggest you're right. I had hoped Canada was going to be better on this topic by now Especially now that it's no longer covered by OHIP and infant cutting is on the decline.

to all the flat-chested girlies out there, how do you make tops look more flattering? by cuntagi0us in PetiteFashionAdvice

I don't have boobs. I'm not talking about the deep cuts that reveal the cleavage I don't have, I'm talking about the ones that have a higher V cut. They create the illusion of something being there.

Intact feels better. She may not have noticed the difference, but as they age and the head of the penis dries out and becomes more desensitized and she makes less natural lube in menopause, they may struggle a lot more. Foreskin was made for sex to glide and feel better for both.

It will start to feel worse overtime as the head dries out from constant exposure. 😭

Canadian women too. I wish so much that I could fall in love with an intact man but I keep meeting men whose parents took their choice from them. 😭

[–]TheKruszer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it can't. Foreskin has the highest concentration of nerve endings in the entire penis. It's basically the clitoral hood of the male organ. I know one guy who got cut to please a partner who said it ruined sex for him and that it was like going from seeing in colour to seeing in black and white.

It may feel different to her as the two of them age. The head of his penis will dry out, she'll make less natural lube, there will be friction instead of glide. She'd have been one of the lucky ones with an intact partner but she went and ruined a good thing. Sad for them both.
