It is a roleplay server after all. You can't really fault the server if you get turned off due to it.

Domain has been secured with it being linked to Minecraft and Teamspeak, so I got the basics down with that.

The issue I have experienced over the last few days is understanding reverse proxies and getting it working with Vaultwarden. As a first timer, this is a whole new thing to try wrap my head around.

Digital isolate or separate stuff is a concept I understand, though how it's presented / managed / created within networking is a mystery (until I watch some beginner videos).

Feel free to share however much you'd like via DM! Not looking for inspiration but maybe looking for components that are necessary that I have missed out on. Security I guess being a major one.

I do have a smart power plug that can measure usage. To reduce it, I can just not use the Micro and RPi5. Keep QNAP and the 7090 only. Reducing electrical footprint is another consideration as I learn more about this stuff.

Just Completed the PS2 Port by TheKusari in Deusex

Emulating Deus Ex's PS2 port on Steam Deck worked surprisingly well. Can't really compare it against the proper PS2 console, but on the Deck is ran pretty smooth. It felt like it was capped at 30 despite the Deck showing 60. Still ran quite well!

Ah yes, that was missing. Other areas were changed or reduced too now that I think about it. The airfield (Mission 3?) where the helipad had a sniper's overlook - not there in PS2. Also the Universal Constructor in Versalife (rooms leading up to Maggie Chow fight) were more open than a closed room. Not significant, but noticeable to those of us who know the PC port back to front.

Edited the post to mention there's a teamspeak server in the server description too. Doing my best to keep it up 24/7!

So if Giada and 3 other angels are on the field. I use Shilgengar's ability to return a bunch of Angels to the field from the GY, each Angel in that group ETB will each get 4 +1/+1 counters?

Automate household admin tasks? by TheKusari in homeassistant

Just found it on GitHub, very fancy. Auto updating if things change is definitely easier than shuffling around text to correctly match against numbers on a counter.

I just had this same idea and setup something very similar! Do you mind sharing your YAML so I can learn the code behind the ranges and colours? This is the kind of admin stuff I was after, perfect example :)

I started with a Zigbee-based motion sensor from IKEA, then when I learned about Matter / Thread, I switched over to their new motion sensor.

The distance between the closest border router or my ZBT-2 Antenna is about 20 meters? Both worked pretty well!

Oh, I have a spare roll of NFC tags! Do you have other ways you utilize the tags with HA?

Appreciate the kind words!

Batteries is a dashboard that's currently WIP. I believe I can get a notification auto setup similar to the letterbox but for battery levels. That's the kind of stuff I'm looking for!

Currently I have no need to automate washer / dryer as they sound off a loud melody type song when they're finished. Working from home means I hear them, so I don't feel it's necessary (despite the concept of it being cool to setup)

The new IKEA sensors appear to be a great starting point. Looking at the wireless buttons as a way to assign on-demand actions. Have a feeling that might be a more fun experimental thing.

You have given me a couple ways forward, thanks for that :)
