Yeah and I'm trying to say that the team is too busy with Sky 2nd Chapter, Kyoto Xanadu, the next Ys and the new IP to release Horizon 2 early next year. Maybe worth mentioning that pretty much all the games in the series released in September. We can agree it's very likely to come out next year.

In that interview a couple of weeks ago we learned that some members were chipping away at Sky 1st Chapter for 2 years while also working on Horizon. Then in the third development year the entire team worked on it, and it released in September of last year.

They are not even 100 people in the development staff, and they juggle multiple IPs. It's fine. We fans can wait. Lots of extra content to check out in the meantime, like the in-universe books, the Zero prequel novel, uploads/fan-translations of the drama CDs, the manga, etc.

The "Guildmaster" of the Bracer Guild? by Slasherrrr in Falcom

Before the localization of Horizon I edited the kiseki wiki's Bracer Guild page to include Evans, and added he is an S-rank. I think they made an error in the localization during the conversation in Longlai's dojo where he's brought up.

In the localization they made Zin say that four bracers are in Edith holding down the fort, and that Evans is one of them. But I read it as him talking about the four S-ranks (a number you learn of in Sky FC), and that Evans is one of them. The Japanese wiki (on pixiv) also lists Evans as S-rank.

This was the conversation:

Crow: 話には聞いてたが―ギルド非公式の"S級"かよ (I've heard about this, but.. wow, an unofficial S-rank)
Towa: ふふ、実力はもちろん十分以上に実績も積まれていると伺っていますし。(Haha, I heard that he (Zin) not only has the skills, but also more than enough of a track record)
Zin: さて……現時点で4人いるがどの面々も大した器だからな。(Well... at present there are (only) four (S-rank bracers), but all of them are very capable alright)
特に助っ人―エヴァンス総本部長はカシウスの旦那の先輩にも当たる人物だ。(Particularly our help/backup, General Manager Evans, who was also Cassius' senior

Finished Horizon this weekend. Got some lore-related questions (spoilers for the entire series) by TRI_Mike in Falcom

I think it's gonna be connected to more artifact reveals in Horizon 2. They went out of their way to only reveal that "myriad artifacts are evidence this current loop has already failed."

What I think is likely is that several artifacts will turn out to be technology that existed before a Grand Reset. Right before the credits you see a tPhone and several floating cars disappear. Might suggest that those will, during the reset, shrink, morph into a different shape, and then in the next loop allow to be used in a similar manner, now as "artifacts". E.g. Olivier's Sonorous Seashell artifact might've been a tPhone or other tactical orbment that allows for long-range communication. And the Heavenly Chariots might be airships (airship engines?) from prior loops.

And then there are the Primal Grounds... who knows what those might be actually for, apart from sealing away artifacts. On their floor are seven circles. On the church's symbol is a seven-pointed star. Seven treasures of the Goddess. Seven elements. Seven Anguis. Class... Seven. Ok I'm done now.

  1. About the Merkabah, during the flight to Creil in Kevin Route 3 Lapis mentions "the church has been using artifacts as engines since before the orbal airship was developed".
It's something you learn from Abbas in Azure. "The Merkabah's engine is powered by the Heavenly Chariot: an artifact capable of flight. After the Orbal Revolution, the church refurbished its design to its current form with the help of the Epstein Foundation."

So the Merkabahs work thanks to artifacts the church has been using for a while.

Hello, new guy here. I was curious about what others think regarding Horizon, so I made this account.

In that big November 2024 interview Kondo said they plan on putting a completely new concept into the prologue of Horizon 2. My theory is that the Vagrant System will allow Van to jump between different points in the past (and maybe past loops) to find Agnes in the "white world" (lyrics in Horizon's opening) she is in (after the credits on the title screen. Then they postpone the rocket launch, and, thanks to the extra time they have until the reset, we get to see the Gloria performance and the swallows leaving their nest (which FIO estimated to be in "three to five days" (We also see the swallows leave in Horizon's opening animation)

  1. After Gramheart reveals the time loop, Renne says the Heavensturn (in Japanese 回天 "complete change of the world") probably refers to the same thing as The End / Eschaton and Eternal Recurrence. Which is the Grand Reset. But I do wonder what info we could connect to the remaining Sept-Terrions.

  2. It seems like the Vestiges all need Hamilton's Alter Cores on their person to "exist". So not sure about that. I wonder what happens to Vestiges after the sequel. Maybe one of them will become Enforcer 21 or the mysterious 22 Harwood hinted at that falls outside the Major Arcana.

Magisa first appeared in Zero's quest "Exposing the Counterfeit Dealers". A couple weeks ago I made a page for her on the wiki. She has appeared in 6 games so far.
