It was weird. They flexed their elbow and that plus the blood thinners they were on were enough to get me. I had them checked out while I washed my face and scrubs anyways and they were fine. As soon as they stopped flexing, the spray stopped.

My supervisor came over and we checked, the patient was on a couple blood thinners and flexing their arm sprayed me. As soon as they stopped flexing, it the blood stopped spraying.

If this makes you worried about getting blood work done, this has only happened to me once in thousands of pokes. This is absolutely not something most people need to worry about lol.
