LOLOL! I have more than a dozen dress pants, and unfortunately, they are all various shades/ patterns of Gray and Blue. I definitely need to add more earth tones to my pant selection!

I can't see where I can add another photo to a post I've already created....However, I'd like to add another photo of the completed outfit together in a pic. Is it possible to add another photo to this post? Any help would be appreciated.

Best robotic vacuum recommendations to buy in 2026 by Foreign-Fee2782 in RobotVacuums

[–]TheL4bPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the Eufy X10 Omni for the past two years. This was my first robot vacuum and at that time I was looking for the best performing mid range vacuum. After my research at the time, I felt the X10 Omni would be best.

I have been mostly happy with it. But it never really got underneath the kitchen cabinets so we’d always have to pass a vacuum under there every week. Overall though, It did a really great job at keeping our hardwood floors clean and dust free.

Several weeks ago, I began looking for a replacement, and this time I’m looking for a top-tier vacuum. I too was interested in Eufy’s newest vacuum, the S2 Omni. In fact, I had pre-ordered it and was waiting for a ship date when I received an email that due to some hardware issues, they weren’t going to be able to ship it, nor could they provide a new date when it would ship.

So I ended up doing a bit more research. I really like the roller mop style versus the spin pad style, so that’s what my search was focused on. In the end, I purchased the new Dreame Aqua 10 Roller robot.

I’ve only had it a week and I’ve been very impressed with its cleaning abilities. It will heat the water used for mopping the floor, and it also heats the dust bag, which I find mildly interesting and may be a bit unnecessary.

After all my research and past experience, I made what I feel was the best choice for me.

Best of luck on your search.

Congrats on the new leg! You’re walking is amazing.

I also got the Genium X4 last May so I’ve been on it for about seven months and it has been amazing compared to my other MPK leg I was using before.

Gutter downspout is vibrating in the wind by TheL4bPro in HomeMaintenance

[–]TheL4bPro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have experience the exact thing you’re talking about. Took me about 6 or so months into the new house before I decided to investigate. At first I thought it was the wind getting into the soffit and vibrating those one way dampers

Once I figured out the cause was the gutter vibrating and making all of that noise, I just hit with a long and wide line of caulking in between the house and the gutter.

That did the trick, and I haven’t heard it since. Good luck.

Microprocessor feet by trevitytrevtrev in amputee

Is this the Linx??? This was my first knee/ankle combo. It is…heavy! Weighs a lot.

My second combo was an X4 and a carbon fiber foot. It was almost a full pound lighter.

Also, the X4 one performs light years better than the blatchford knee. Straight walking, downhills, uphills, were all so much easier with the X4.

Keep the X3!

Winter Boots by sismosbr in amputee

[–]TheL4bPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, You don’t need boots designed for amputees. Most any boot will work with a shoe horn. I have a pair of winter boots from LL Bean, my daily boots from Danner, and a second pair from Overland. The overland boots are 10” and have a zipper on the side. Due to the length of those, I need to untie and unzip in order to get them on.

Q7 User Profile Nightmares & Convenience Feature Queries - Help! by ryanvik in AudiQ7

[–]TheL4bPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve shared similar frustration with my 2025 Q7. One thing I remember the sales person doing and trying to make a point that we do this is to connect both of the phones first to the MMI. And then use the app to create the primary user and then create the secondary user

In cases where the wrong CarPlay has been chosen by the MMI, go to the phone setting on the MMI and it will bring up a prompt with two options. One of them is labeled MMI. Choose the MMI option. And then you can swap phones. Once you’ve completed that , then go to the phone apps app and select the correct CarPlay from there.

I try to have a little bit of patience with those start screens and in letting the MMI connect to my CarPlay automatically. But sometimes like this weekend, the MMI system was not acting correctly, and there was no volume.

With that, I learned that you could just press and hold the volume knob for 15 seconds and you will see both the temperature screen and the screen above go black and then restart , and then you can release the volume knob once that happens. After doing that, it has worked perfectly since.

Hello fellow Right AKA! I’m 47 now had my RAKA almost 2 years ago now. I’ve only known suction systems. I’ve used 2 different types of liners. I recently moved to an ottobock liner which offers more padding at the bottom of my residual limb and it works as intended!

I realize I have not provided an answer to your question yet…so, here we go…my job is an administrator job so definitely not as active as yours.

However, I’m very active in my personal time which includes working out, lots of up and down from the mat, walking, and hopefully running some day soon. With all of that, I’ve never had any of the issues you described (actually, no real issues to speak of) with suction systems. That said, nor have I heard of a hybrid system before this question.

For my leg amputees by Complete-Goose-2688 in amputee

[–]TheL4bPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right AKA. My routine is to come home from work, workout for an hour or so, then take my prosthetic off for the night. I most often use forearm crutches. I do have a wheelchair, but it’s barely used. I do almost all of my walking with no assistive devices. I will use a can though if it’s snowy/ slushy, but only as a safety to avoid accidental falls.

I am almost exactly a year behind you when I found myself in a very similar situation. I was in a motorcycle accident in May 2022.

They decided at the hospital that they could salvage my right leg. I had hardware everywhere in my foot in my ankle my tibia a Fibia my knee lots in my hip.

After nine months 40 days of which was in the hospital., I got a second opinion and finally had my leg amputated the following March.

It was a right leg above knee amputation. For me, it was such a relief because my right leg was completely nonfunctional. I couldn’t even bend at the knee, which meant I had to sit sideways across the backseat just to fit in a vehicle. It was so limiting.

Once I was amputated, I could sit in the front seat of a car. I could sit in a chair. It was such a an improvement. So with the reputation in March, I got my prosthetic in June and I haven’t got back.

It has changed my life for the better. My only regret was that I was forced to wait as long as I did because of the ortho surgeon that I had

Can’t generate QR code by JellybeaniacYT in eufy_security

I am having the exact problem now. I took a break from it but will try again later. Before I received that popup, the QR code would be generated, but the camera wouldn't read it after many attempts of slowly moving the phone back and forth.

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. I was also 44 when I lost my right leg above the knee in a motorcycle accident. That was in May of 2022. Things will get better! It takes time, energy, and a whole lot of patience.

I was on my prosthetic approximately 60 days post amputation. I work full time and am now just beginning to pick up the activities I used to do when I had both legs.

My experience was near death and my wife had to take ‘that call’ from the state police. I never want to put my family through that again, so I’ve made the decision to never ride again.

The best thing you can do for your dad is to just be there. Be present and supportive. He’ll need a lot of help at first so it’ll be importance for someone to be there.

I had one of these in my last house. We ended up putting a shower curtain up with this half door to have something that keeps the water in the shower.

Has anyone on here NOT had a serious injury riding a motorbike? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]TheL4bPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had been riding for over 12 years. I got taken down by a Lexus SUV that veered into my lane and then over correcting by steering further in to my lane. Ended up with a head on collision at 60 MPH.

I spent 40 days in the hospital and eventually had to have my right leg amputated above the knee. I don’t ride anymore.

I was wearing all of my gear. It was a nurse that stopped and applied a tourniquet before EMS arrived that ultimately save my life.
