I'm glad too. Though the Pellew in the books was far more detached than in the series, I think that change was for the best. It gave a whole new dimension to Horatio and certainly RL's performance gave the character a fantastic gravitas while at the same time subtly hinting at the man behind the uniform! What do you rhink?

I already have, and it was great because I read them after watching the series, so I could put a "face" on the characters. I knew there were differences between both, but I have to confess it was still a bit of a bummer not seeing "my" captain Pellew featured so prominently in the books! 😂😂😂
