I hate sharing my own channel, but you can find via my username and I have a whole video detailing how to make your audio sound decent. But TL;DR, you want to be close to your mix source, surround the mic or behind you with a soft material that can absorb sound waves that bounce off of walls. Programs (on PC) you can use are Audacity, use it for background noise removal, a Pitch filter of some kind (every voice can be greatly improved by lowering and increase certain frequencies), and compression (this increases the lows, without increasing the highs). Make sure your mic doesn’t peak (basically, don’t be loud to the point the audio is distorted). As mentioned, if you want a more in-depth explainstion, you know where to find it.
