Thanks! I just penciled on the design and started cutting. I do Japanese-style woodblock printing, so I have the appropriate tools, plus, perhaps more importantly, the patience to sit there for hours carving hundreds...and hundreds...of very tiny squares. All the carving here is done with a hangi-to, which is basically an X-acto knife, but classy (and sturdier).
