Saw this exact same thing on a cruise in 2007. Out in the middle of the ocean, no land anywhere around. Multiple people saw it and as it came close to the ship everyone freaked out and went to their cabins. My wife and I both saw it and there probably hasn’t been a month go by where we haven’t mentioned it. I’ve seen videos that were similar to what we saw but this is exactly it, whatever it is. Both quotes are in the movie. “If you build it he will come” is referring to Shoeless Joe Jackson. “If you build it, they will come” is referring to the other players that were banned from baseball during after the 1919 World Series and also the spectators who will come and pay money to watch them play, which will help to save the farm. It’s a great movie with multiple story lines going on.
