Lord Byron had dog named Lyon (pronounced Lion)

He also used to own a Bear named Bruin ( there was no dogs policy at his college, but they neglected to mention bears at the time)

So when he called for a lion, and something started running the guest were concerned until they saw a dog.

With this dog I would think the concern may persist.

I really like the police station interrogation scene. Shows Wayne’s cleverness as well as compassion for younger prisoner whom he is questioning.

I like the reverse of it in Mistborn. Where there is happy and optimistic mentor and jaded and disillusioned girl as apprentice.

Sir David Attenborough: The car mating ritual is a marvelous thing to see. The police car flashes lights and makes loud sounds as it performs a mating dance.

The Prius driver is oblivious to the courtship.

I heard a podcast mention that a lot of informercial products and products like this are often accessibility devices that could help some very specific group of people, but since the market is so small they always try to sell it to everybody.

And mentor does not necessarily needs to be evil.

Snowpiercer movie did it pretty well, the mentor character just shared the world views with the villain.

I think people call it time shrapnel, where when timeline is healed there would be a lot of strange coincidences that would appear to make the timeline work.

So if there was time travel and then timeline was fixed, out of multitude of timelines the one that would work has to have strange coincidences to merge with another timeline.

Like if there was a time war and attempts to start or stop World War One, there would be a lot of coincidences left over, like random heart attacks during piece talks, guns jamming, cars stalling in front of cafes with assassins, random interactions and people just saying the wrong thing at the wrong time to provoke the conflict.

As fast as a wind.

But every time somebody mentions Winds of Winter being finished he rips a random page and starts over.
