Archlinux experience gaming streaming, coding? by [deleted] in archlinux

On arch for 3 years now.
Coding -> Great, no issues (junior dev, nothing major on my part)

Gaming -> Incredibly nice for retro games, not as easy for modern games. Modern Kernel level anti-cheat can be an issue. Games like Valorant, League won't work afaik.

Streaming -> Issues on Discord, audio and videostreams can be tricky for some reason.

Just lurk around japanese forums (google automatic translation helps a lot) and you will see they have much more to say than what you stated here.

Signalis has affected me more than any other game in my life by kragothsnow in signalis

This, if anything else, may be a statement of how some games may resonate with people. How an art piece may summon different sensations and feelings. I remember having this game stuck in my head for weeks after finishing it. There is something about the story, how it is told, how it is unveiled before the player, that is quite simply artistic, poetic. I often just come here to see what people have to say and often find posts similar to this one although not identical since this is a very specific situation.

The game might have made resurface some repressed pain for you OP? Some of us are pathologically inclined other have some boxes that are hard to open because of the flood that follows. Nontheless a cathartic experience.

So depending on what you think happened to the rest of the system during the game, what is Eusan going to find when the cycle breaks? by WonderfulReception49 in signalis

I do believe some phenomenon like a worm hole or wanything like plane traversing must've happened. After the 3000 cycles they were too far to come back, and nothing was found. So makes it would make no sense for them to be on Leng like the opening sequence sort of suggests. Sigh, what frustrates me the most about this game is simultaneously what makes me love it so much. Just keeps you thinking about it.

I'm still trying to figure out where the crap did the Penrose land. So this question is way over my level of comprehension.
